I always thought that game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals in 2006 would be the greatest hockey game I personally ever watched. The Sabres may have somehow outdone that game tonight. Hell of an effort. And fu(k Brandon Hagel.

The Sabres are doing incredible (second best team in hockey since December) and fans are upset that we added some depth pieces that will absolutely be hard to play against in the playoffs. Some people are just never happy. Enjoy this season because we haven’t seen a team this well rounded since the 05-06 Sabres.

We feel confident with our offense going forward right now, and we need to stack up our defense. We don’t need more offense right now, we are a fucking wagon. I understand where you are coming from though, but I think we just found our defensive guy in Mr. Stanley. That being said, that opens up a small amount of room to sign Tuch possibly, because we can’t afford both him and Rosen. Not sure if you’ve looked at the our contracts for next year but I bet you that was a part of it. Rosen’s rookie contract is up, and we have Benson, Tuch, and Krebs to get back in the fold, and if possible, we are 100% keeping Logan Stanley if we can afford him somehow, someway. We have a projected 13.5 Mil in Cap Space next year because Salary Cap is increasing. We have to figure it out, and we will.
