On Thursday 21st November, we'll be airing Nature Matters at Cafe Etch in Middlesbrough: A timely short film from The Yorkshire and North East Film Archives created using archival footage to remind us of our innate relationship with the natural world. [1/3]

Yesterday, CAM partners @teeswildlife were able to use @MbroCouncil's cut and collect mower for the first time! We tested it at Middle Marsh and got a good amount of work done! We'll be back tomorrow - why not join us for the litter pick and see the mower in action?

🍄🍄🍄Our Mushroom Foraging walk this Friday is now fully booked up. There is another planned on Tuesday 8th October, place of walk to be confirmed. Places are limited so please email jodie.sawbridge@menvcity.org.uk if you are interested.

@Jharrison22 @savebutterflies Only one, that's not good. Yes, not many large or small whites this year. Even in allotments, not many on cabbages or kale. Woods are full of Gatekeepers and Meadow Browns. Not many wasps or flies this year.

@CAMiddlesbrough @savebutterflies I saw only 1 butterfly when I took part in the count. A small white.

It's been a very poor year for butterflies, with the lowest number recorded by the Big Butterfly Count. According to @savebutterflies the 5 most common butterflies seen this year have been Gatekeeper, Meadow brown, Large white, Small white, Peacock. #butterfly #climateaction

Next Wednesday Tees Valley Together (at the Community Living Room in the Viewley Centre in Hemlington) are running a cookery workshop on Wednesday 25th September starting at 11am with Samia from @Menvcity where you can make some Aloo Tikki potato cakes. Sounds delicious!

👩‍🌾Looking for something to do this morning? Regeneration of Communities have their regular Wellbeing Wednesday for Women until 2pm today. It's free to attend and you can involved in gardening, get creative in the ROC hut or simply come along for a chat with some lovely people.
