LACP Special Enforcement Operations, with CDCR Parole, Lancaster PD, & the FBI, conducted compliance checks at a residence housing registered sex offenders. A probationer/parolee was arrested after 5,000 images and videos of child sexual abuse material were found on his devices.

LACP partnered with LAPD Southeast GED during extra patrol, contacting a probationer and known gang member. A search recovered drugs, cash, a scale, and two loaded firearms. The probationer was arrested on a probation hold. Collaboration keeps our communities safer. #LACProbation

Today, at the Supervisor Joe Baca Jr. College & Career Fair, #SBCProbation had the opportunity to spend the day at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Aviation Hangar, connecting with students and sharing insight into the many career paths within Probation.

LACP Specialized Enforcement Operations deputies participated in firearms training with the LAPD Gang and Narcotics Division Training Bureau, completing “shoot-don’t shoot,” moving, and stress marksmanship drills. SEO only carry firearms in the field, never in youth facilities.
