Saturday morning well spent 🐐✨ Our young volunteers came together for a full deep clean of the goat barn, led by our brilliant farm apprentice Remus. Alongside the hard work, our older volunteers passed on their skills, teaching others how to safely trim hooves and care for the animals. What a busy and beautiful weekend! 💚 This Saturday our amazing volunteers came together to deliver hay to the animals, clean the site, freshen up the fish tank, litter pick, and take care of so many other important jobs. On top of all that, they even learned new skills from our amazing electrician - growing their confidence while helping CATCH thrive! Every task, big or small, was done with heart. This is what true dedication, teamwork, and love for animals looks like. An incredible evening at the Apprenticeship Fair! 20 of our young people came along to explore different career paths and apprenticeship opportunities at this years Leeds Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair! They spoke to employers. They asked questions. They learned about real routes into real jobs. Events like this make a difference. They build confidence. They raise aspirations. They show young people what’s possible. We’re proud to support them as they think about their futures and take positive steps forward 💚

This incredible group of students from Leeds City Academy have worked with dedication and pride to insulate and board the gym. By the community, for the community. Hard work really does pay off. Our young people continue to step up — lifting hay bales, deep cleaning the goat barn, cleaning up the site, making sure the building is absolutely top notch, and even turning up day after day for extra revision. And the best part? They’re doing it off their own back. This is what CATCH is about. Commitment. Pride. Grit. Young people who show up, work hard, and take ownership. We couldn’t be prouder.

Even on the coldest, iciest days, CATCH is still open. Throughout the day, we host bookings for corporate and community organisations, delivering high-quality events and excellent service. In the evenings, our doors stay open for young people, offering a safe, welcoming space with activities like pool, ping pong, video games, and board games 🎱🏓🎮🎲 Alongside all of this, our farm runs every single day, 365 days a year, caring for over 80 animals 🐄🐑🐓

Christmas Healthy Holidays completed 🎄 We travelled the world without leaving home – from Scotland to Mexico! Learning new traditions, discovering new sports, and staying active all the way! Huge shoutout to our Catch Union Sports Lead Filip for smashing the brief with tag rugby, handball, dodgeball and more. So good seeing our young people out, active, and having fun ⚽

We loved coming together with Gordon’s LLP to host a Christmas party for their apprentices and our Catch volunteers. An evening filled with games, good food, and time to celebrate the amazing young people who’ve grown, supported one another, and achieved so much over the year. Even Santa dropped by with presents for the young people, making it an extra special way to end the year ✨🎅

🌟 A fun twist at this year’s LLA breakfast — we brought Farm On Wheels along for the ride! 🌟 Our alpacas and llamas definitely stole the spotlight… and maybe distracted a few people from the speakers 👀😂 But they brought so much joy, curiosity, and connection to the event. In a space all about collaboration, there was no better way to spark conversations and smiles than watching people come together around our amazing animals. From shared laughter to unexpected learning moments, it was a brilliant reminder of how community and creativity can elevate any event. 🦙💛 A huge shout-out to the amazing CATCH volunteers and Leeds City College volunteers who supported both the breakfast and our animals throughout the day — their enthusiasm and teamwork made everything run smoothly. 🦙

Six of our wonderful volunteers took on the Abbey Dash 10k run this morning - a true display of dedication, teamwork, and community spirit 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️✨ The atmosphere was incredible: smiling faces, supportive cheers, and plenty of well-earned sweat. Last week we had the pleasure of visiting Gordon’s LLP in Leeds City, where James Pearson and Ebony Sawant delivered a presentation alongside two of our incredible young volunteers. We’re proud to share that Gordon’s LLP has chosen CATCH as their Charity of the Year, and this partnership is already opening doors for our young people. Opportunities like this give them real-world experience, confidence, and the chance to use their voices in professional spaces. A huge thank you to the team at Gordon’s for welcoming us and believing in the potential of our young people. We’re excited for what this year’s partnership will bring!

What an incredible night at @LeedsPlayhouse 🎭 Thanks to the amazing support from the team at Leeds Playhouse, we were able to take 20 of our young people to watch A Christmas Carol and they absolutely loved every moment. We made sure to bring along as many of our GCSE students as possible, knowing how much this experience could support their English exams. And it worked - they’ve come back buzzing with excitement, inspired by the story, and more motivated than ever. Moments like these remind us how powerful community, kindness, and the arts can be. Here’s to creating more opportunities, more memories, and more confidence in our young people. ✨

Last night, one of our incredible young people had the honour of representing CATCH at the Aspire Property Awards Evening 2025 and what an unforgettable night it was! At just 17, James stood in front of a room of over 200 people, full of property developers and an inspiring community built on support and camaraderie. He delivered a powerful speech, sharing his journey with CATCH and introducing our mission to the room. His honesty, confidence, and determination left everyone in awe - earning applause, cheers, and even a standing ovation. James’ story is a testament to what hard work, resilience, and overcoming obstacles can achieve. He represented CATCH with pride and passion, and we couldn’t be more proud of him. We were honoured to be chosen as Aspire Property’s charity to support. Their values of building community, improving lives, and supporting people align beautifully with the mission of CATCH. The evening at the Queens Hotel in Leeds was filled with great conversations, great food, uplifting music, and so many motivating connections. Aspire Property’s mentoring scheme is helping the next generation of property developers thrive - and James made such an impact that Aspire generously pledged to double all funds raised for CATCH. We’re incredibly grateful for the warm welcome, the inspiring atmosphere, and the huge interest from so many who now want to learn more about what CATCH is all about. Honoured. Inspired. Motivated. And so proud of James for shining so brightly.
