I think if we end up without qualifying for Europe, it will be a blessing in disguise for a coach with philosophy like Xabi Alonso.
It makes his work easier. More time to work and fresh players every weekend.
I don’t know about you but Personally, I prefer no Europe if it's not Champions League. But it doesn't mean I don't want to win the FA Cup and qualify for the Europa League. I will take that too.

It's players who keep getting hamstring injuries even though they've barely played during the season

Xabi Alonso's time at Real Madrid gives me more belief that he's the right guy.
The team was struggling to play his football but he still managed to find a way to win. It shows he's not one to die for his philosophy.
His Real Madrid record in La Liga was 14 wins, 2 defeats and 3 draws. 4 points behind Barcelona in the league (2nd) when he left.

Liverpool have been one of the best decisions makers in the country for the last 10+ years, I will be bewildered if they keep Slot and just let us have a free run at Alonso
