🚨🚨🚨Fabrizio Romano 🗣️ Just to clarify the situation, Enzo Fernández is definitely on Real Madrid’s shortlist. However, he is not the ONLY name, as there are at least two or three midfielders under consideration. Real Madrid are genuinely interested in Enzo, and the player would be open to joining them. So, Enzo Fernández and Real Madrid is certainly a situation to keep in mind ahead of the summer transfer window. However, conversations between the clubs have not started yet. As of today, Real Madrid and Chelsea are not in negotiations. I say “yet” because the relationship between the two clubs is very good following the Cucurella deal, and they could eventually hold discussions about Enzo. Chelsea already have a price in mind in case Real Madrid decide to pursue the opportunity. Chelsea’s valuation will be IMPORTANT, and they will have CONTROL over the conditions of any possible transfer. Enzo is one of the names José Mourinho has mentioned during internal meetings at Real Madrid. Matheus Fernandes of West Ham has also been discussed, although he is also on Manchester United’s shortlist. Real Madrid’s board and management are currently assessing DIFFERENT opportunities and trying to move quickly in the market. They have completed several deals over the past two or three weeks and want to continue working at that PACE. Once again, the Enzo Fernández deal is not happening today. The interest is real, but there are currently no NEGOTIATION, no AGREEMENT and no OFFICIAL offer. The next step is to understand Chelsea’s position and the price they would demand.
