CGEF signed an MOU with ONIP to facilitate networking between Canadian operators and service companies. ONIP (onip.org.br) operates as a forum for information exchange and cooperation between companies in the upstream, midstream and downstream.

CGEF met with IBP to sign a cooperative agreement to explore the application of Canadian technology in the development of Brazil's mature fields. IBP promotes the development of Brazil's energy sector through industry education and technology exchange.

CGEF was at the OTC in Rio de Janeiro this week to open discussions with key industry organizations to facilitate greater participation of Canada's energy industry in Brazil's rapidly developing onshore sector.
