@StormHuntley I had GD with my pregnancy. You get used to the routine of testing etc and it just becomes 'one of those things'. The NHS staff were excellent and monitored my baby closely. My only real advice would be to take care of yourself and get lots of dog walks in after meals 😀

Diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes about 3weeks ago and it’s all a bit big and scary. I know lots of you have to deal with this daily, so any advice?

@bigtoes80 You're spot on. These children give adopters the best of both worlds. They gain the incredible magic and imagination of 4,5 or 6 yrs old but who are emotionally much younger and also need cuddles and human affection that much younger children need as they have usually missed out.
