We have just started Session 2, which is our PhD and ECR showcase. This session will feature talks from Nika Barbara Pravica (@BristolUni), Uroosa Chughtai (@cardiffuni), Shichun Gu (@BristolUni ), Xiaoyuan Gu (@UniofExeter) and Jingrui Hu (@UniofExeter).

Dr Hazel Hall-Roberts (@ukdri @hazellroberts) has introduced our second keynote speaker, Dr Sally Cowley (@dunn_school @uniofoxford), who is giving a thought-provoking talk titled “Modelling neuroinflammation using human iPS cells”.

Session 1 had excellent presentations by Dr Yasir Syed (@neurosciencecu), Dr Natalie Connor-Robson @nlconnor_robson & Dr Hazel Hall-Roberts @hazellroberts (both @UKDRI @cardiffuni ). Exciting research on oligoorganoids, endocytic dysfunction in AD & iPSC-Derived Microglia Models.

Dr Ed Carter (@lifesciencebath @uniofbath) has introduced our first keynote speaker Professor @UmberCheema (Bioengineering @UCL), who is giving a fascinating talk titled “Advanced biomimetic 3D models to mimic tumour-stroma”
