I’ve sat in a room with the former owner on multiple occasions, and it was obvious he had no real interest in the club’s supporters, the local area, or how English football works. He spoke to fans with a sense of ignorance and elitism — as if we knew nothing because we didn’t own a football club. To him, we were just ungrateful customers. After 10 years of that, David Storch hasn’t even completed a takeover of Sheffield Wednesday yet, and he’s already engaged more with people in the city and the club’s supporters than his predecessor ever did. Another amazing week in Sheffield with so many special moments. Every time I come here, I fall more in love with this city and its people, who have been so warm and welcoming. Great interactive Q&A with the @swfc staff at Hillsborough; their loyalty is admirable. We will restore joy and pride to the offices as we create a culture of excellence. I've been impressed with the strong civic leadership I've seen from Mayor @olivercoppard and @katejosephs. I have further enjoyed building a great relationship with Clive Betts. Also loved my time with Sheffield Wednesday Legend, @HirstyD9 who still has so much passion for the Owls. My team and I are working on so many important initiatives so that we can hit the ground running once we take over this wonderful club. Most notably; improvements to Hillsborough and the design of our kit and crest (stay tuned!😉). Had the opportunity to host a lunch at the outstanding new restaurant in the City Centre; Maria. You guys have to try it! We were joined by @LordBlunkett who enlightened us with his many stories spanning 75 years of genuine love for the club through the good times and not so. I finished my visit, stopping in at the Broomhill Tavern, relaxing over a pint with some new friends watching our match against Stoke City. I'd like to wish everybody a very Happy Easter weekend as we continue into next week heads down on this journey to rebuild this incredible football club. Prince William, the Prince of Wales is about to divorce his wife of 15 years, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales. The palace announcement of the separation and eventually divorce is expected later today. According to the press briefings the couple have agreed on shared custody. The details would be kept private. They have been living apart for almost 4 years now. The Princess will retain a smaller title and will lose her HRH. It's been vastly known for awhile that the Prince of Wales has been living with his girlfriend of over 7 years Rose Hamburg, who lives near by him. She consoled his breaking heart after the collapse of his marriage. The Princess of Wales is expected to walk out with 15 million, a residence and her clothes that nobody wants to keep. For now , we are aware that the children are staying with their mother and it's not confirmed if they will attend Easter Sunday with the rest of the 3 remaining working Royals, 4 with the Duke of Kent if he is still alive by then. On another update Carole Middleton has entered the Priory clinic in London for a rejuvenation month old spa, aka rehab from Alcohol. The Prince of Wales is spending time with Camilla Parker Bowles too, figuring out how to find a way to blame all this on Meghan and Diana the paranoid Princess.
