The 24th Meeting of the COMCEC Poverty Alleviation Working Group was held virtually on 24 April 2025, with the theme of “Decent Housing for the Poor in the OIC Member Countries”.

The 24th Meeting of the COMCEC Transport and Communications Working Group was held virtually on 24 April 2025, with the theme of “Enhancing and Sustaining Rural Accessibility in the OIC Member Countries”.

The Working Group discussed the issue of strengthening the resilience of family farmers and small-scale producers in the agriculture and food sectors.

Experts from the Member Countries have shared their experiences, successful practices, and challenges in this field. The preliminary findings on Indonesia, selected case-country study, have also been delivered at the Meeting. TKBB has shared experiences and presented activities.

23rd Meeting of the COMCEC Financial Cooperation Working Group was held with the theme “Promoting Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly Islamic Financial Instruments to Combat the Adverse Effects of Climate Change and Natural Disasters in the OIC Member Countries.”

The Member Countries shared their knowledge and experiences regarding export strategies at the Meeting. Presentations delivered by @UNCTAD and @deikint reflected the perspectives of international organisations and the private sector, thereby enriching the discussions.
