For more than 20 years, CSNTM has worked to make the earliest copies of the New Testament freely accessible to anyone, anywhere, for free, forever. On February 16, we're launching a major advancement in this mission. Stay tuned. #CSNTM #NewTestament #ComingSoon

How do we know what the New Testament really said if we don’t have any of the original manuscripts? Watch this interview with Dr. Wallace on the IdeaLogical YouTube channel to learn more: buff.ly/7dJbPVe #newtestament #manuscripts #bible

#ManuscriptMonday Papyrus 111 (P111) is a small 3rd-century fragment of the Gospels on papyrus, preserving portions of Luke 17:11–13, 22–23. Though only nine lines remain, fragments like this one help scholars trace the faithful transmission of the New Testament and deepen our understanding of its early textual history. Today, it’s housed at the Bodleian Art, Archaeology and Ancient World Library at Oxford. View more images here: buff.ly/KCDE2G0

#TextCriticTuesday CSNTM’s very own Dr. Daniel B. Wallace is a leading New Testament scholar and the Founder and Executive Director of The Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts (CSNTM). His work has focused on preserving and studying the earliest Greek New Testament manuscripts, with CSNTM digitizing manuscripts across four continents and discovering more manuscripts than any other institute in the 21st century. As Senior Research Professor Emeritus at Dallas Theological Seminary, Dr. Wallace has trained generations of scholars and authored Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics, the standard advanced Greek grammar used in the English-speaking world. Through manuscript discovery, digital preservation, and scholarship, his work continues to shape how the New Testament text is studied today.

#ManuscriptMonday GA 1934 is an 11th-century minuscule manuscript on parchment containing portions of Paul and Revelation with commentary. Unfortunately, this manuscript has suffered from mold, obstructing portions of text on the first few pages in the codex. This is just one example of the threats to these ancient copies of God’s Word. And one example of why we do what we do here at CSNTM–digitally preserving ancient manuscripts and their texts before they succumb to irreversible damage and are lost forever. Your year-end gift helps preserve the oldest witnesses to the New Testament, provide accessible training, and develop resources that equip people to trust God’s Word in a world full of confusion and skepticism. Give before midnight tomorrow (December 31) and ensure that future generations have unshakeable confidence in God's Word. Give before it’s too late: buff.ly/Mqdn89j

#ManuscriptMonday GA 08, also known as Codex Laudianus, is a late 6th/early 7th-century Greek–Latin diglot manuscript containing the Acts of the Apostles. Interestingly, this Italian codex is thought to have been written in Sardinia or Rome during the Byzantine occupation, eventually making its way into the hands of William Laud (the manuscript’s namesake) and then being donated to the Bodleian Library in Oxford in 1639, where it is still housed today. It was transcribed by Constantin von Tischendorf, and evidence indicates that the Venerable Bede even used it for his text of Acts. In our modern era, Codex Laudianus was used in the production of the Editio Critica Maior of Acts. Stories like Codex Laudianus remind us that the New Testament has been preserved through the care and dedication of generations. As we near the end of the year, you can be part of that same legacy—preserving these ancient witnesses to God’s Word and making them accessible for future generations. See what YOU can make possible in 2026! For 23 years, CSNTM has digitally preserved New Testament manuscripts and made them freely available online—helping ensure the New Testament you read today accurately reflects what the apostles wrote 2,000 years ago. Now, we’re expanding this work to serve non-scholars more directly by providing evidence, offering training, and building lasting confidence in Scripture. Make this work possible before the year’s end → new.csntm.org/confront-lies-…
