@_TheBlueTorch @aintscarylarry Citizenship doesn't really have much to do with it...they're still humans and do not deserve to be treated the way they are, even the "illegal" ones.

@brue5w @alexboge This is not to scale. If it were, each one of those dots would be about the size of a medium sized city. In reality they're small and far away from each other. Take 10,000 ppl and spread them evenly across the globe and tell me if they can see each other.

It’s amusing how easy it is to debunk flat Earth. 2,300 years ago, the Greeks did it several ways: by observing Earth’s shadow on the Moon, noticing stars change with latitude and watching ships appear top first & disappear bottom-first over the horizon. That’s curvature. Bottom first occlusion is only possible on a globe. A sharp horizon is impossible on a flat earth. Meanwhile, Today? We have thousands of satellites, GPS, real-time photo/video, global communications - all working because Earth is a globe governed by gravity. So what’s left? Deny visible curvature. 🙄 Deny gravity. 🙄 Deny satellites. 🙄 Lie to Deny reality. 😂 That’s the entire flat Earth model. Gotta Lie To Flerf.

Each sphere is moving in a straight line, but the final motion is circular

@Rainmaker1973 It's only a perception of rotation, just an optical illusion. I'm curious how him picking up the platform and tilting it around didn't upset the motion of the balls.

@Sinner_D @Rainmaker1973 OK, the illusion is pretty clear. But what keeps the momentum of the spheres? Bu default all spheres must stop at the center. I imagine some kind of magnetic device inside the cilinder..... Am I right?

I left Christianity in 1995, at age 39. It’s 30 years later and I have no regrets in life, other than the 17 years I spent as an evangelical.

@TheWolfmanJesus @ChristiansSTDT We would have believe and could no longer be called atheists, but that doesn't mean we'd actually worship him. According to the old books, he's kind of a dick.

@ChristiansSTDT So experientially, if you met God. In your heart you knew it was God. You would not believe in God.

All I'd need is physical evidence and reasoned logic that met the burden of proof for the presented claims.

@ChristiansSTDT You know who should know? An all knowing god. He knows exactly what it would take for each one of us to believe, yet he hasn't made his existence known. He either doesn't want to be worshipped or doesn't exist. They're both the same outcome as far as I'm concerned.

@MarvinDav313 @ThinkingAtheist What kind of a loving god sends a good person to hell simply for not being convinced a he exists?? There are countless charitable & moral atheists throughout the world & history. An all-just/moral/logical god wouldn't expect ppl to take it on faith, it's just not convincing.

@volcaholic1 Crazy how all these alternative energy sources are really just different ways to boil water. Atomic? Using nuclear reactions to boil water and turn a genny. Mirrors? Focusing the sun to boil water and turn a genny. Geothermal? Using the earth to boil water; turn genny.

China’s solar power plant in Dunhuang uses around 12,000 mirrors to focus sunlight onto a central tower, heating molten salt to extreme temperatures. That heat is stored and used to generate electricity on demand, including after sunset.
