Me when my husband gave my MIL a stern talking to for wasting my breastmilk because “that’s liquid gold”

It’s my last full week of maternity leave and my heart is in shreds. I feel like I just had my tiny baby yesterday 😭

(He’s sleeping in his bedside bassinet 3 feet away from me)

Not me wanting my baby to wake up in the middle of the night because I miss him and want to hold him 😂🤍

@CardiacPA1 Just seeing this - thank you! It was a rough week in our house with me, hubs, and baby all getting it. We came out on the other side of it though! 🤞🏼

Shoutout to Covid for getting me now under my pre-pregnancy weight 😅

Having covid when I’m the primary caregiver of a 6 week old newborn and I have severe anxiety about said newborn getting sick is my personal hell

6 years ago I was in PA school fighting for my life. Now I’m married to a man I’m obsessed with, own two houses, have a dog who is the light of our lives, and a baby boy that we love more than anything. I’ll always stop to remember how lucky I am and feel grateful 🥹

Baby boy came on 10/29 and he is perfect 🩵

Everyone keeps telling me to nap when the baby does, but how am I supposed to sleep between nursing every two hours and someone being at my house to visit the baby every day between feeding sessions 🤬

Let me just say that childbirth humbled me. I knew it wasn’t going to be EASY, but I ran and lifted my entire pregnancy up until 39 weeks and thought that would give me an advantage in labor and delivery, but that was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done 😩

4 days overdue now and if I get one more text asking me if the baby is here I’m going to schedule another mental breakdown into my day (I already have at least 2)

For real y’all how can I get this labor going naturally because if this baby doesn’t come out on his own I’m going to be induced Monday or Tuesday next week and I really want to avoid induction if I can 😭😭

Me waking up this morning and having to go to work when I hoped my baby would come over the weekend and my 3 month maternity leave would have started by now

My mother in law asked me today, at 39.5 weeks pregnant, how much weight I’ve gained because “my face looks pretty much the same except for maybe a little bit of weight gain in the lower half”. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
