The myth of ‘civil war in East Ukraine’ A little over 12 yrs ago, Russian paramilitary groups led by FSB officer Igor Girkin (Strelkov) crossed the border and seized the city of Sloviansk, marking the start of the Russian occupation of the Donetsk region.

Putin crawls out again claiming Russia is "ready for talks" but only on the Istanbul terms from spring 2022. Same broken record, same deliberate lie. That format is dead and Moscow killed it. First, Russia rewrote its own constitution to annex four Ukrainian regions that were never mentioned in those drafts. You cannot return to a negotiating table whose legal premises you personally nuked. Second, the battlefield reality has nothing in common with 2022. Russian tanks are not parked outside Kyiv. They are grinding for single villages in Donetsk at the cost of more soldiers per square kilometer than the villages ever had residents. Four years of "three days to Kyiv" have produced exactly zero strategic breakthroughs and a mountain of corpses. Ukraine's position is brutally simple and should be repeated after every strike on Russian soil: we are prepared to stop the shooting tomorrow. Mutual ceasefire along the current line, no territorial concessions demanded from either side in the first step. The only person blocking that path is Putin. Every drone that reaches Moscow refineries or airfields is therefore not "escalation", it is the direct price of his refusal. Let Russians start asking the obvious question their propaganda cannot answer: if Ukraine is ready to freeze the fighting today, why does your leadership keep paying in blood and sanctions to continue it? This is not charity theater for Western capitals. Arming Ukraine remains the cheapest European security policy available. A Russian victory would validate the model of slow-motion conquest against any neighbor foolish enough to lack nuclear weapons or NATO membership. The bill for that lesson would arrive in Tallinn, Warsaw, Vilnius and Berlin at multiples of current aid packages. Better to finish the aggressor here, on Ukrainian terms, with Ukrainian soldiers and Western metal. The Kremlin cannot accept a real ceasefire because the war is the only thing holding its rotten imperial project together. Demobilized veterans would eventually ask what the meat grinder was for. Putin needs permanent conflict the way a junkie needs the next fix. That is why every so-called peace signal is conditioned on Ukrainian surrender dressed up as "Istanbul". We see it. The West should stop pretending otherwise and start delivering the only language Moscow respects: more long-range strike capability, more air defense, more production licenses on Ukrainian soil so we can scale what we already do best. No one is coming to save us. We are the ones buying time for the rest of the continent. The math is straightforward: invest here or pay later when the next border burns. Moscow understands only cost. Let's keep raising it until the regime that started this war can no longer afford the invoice.

@broketrader5 @michaeldweiss I care Ukraine is fighting for western values and democracy. Ukrainians understand what genuine patriotism looks like Russia hates freedom and threatens the west frequently. They have publicly declared the U.S. and Europe their enemy

🚨 Kiev regime's neo-Nazism is evident through its attacks on Russian children: Putin 🔹 On June 17, Ukraine deliberately struck a bus carrying a youth football team from Belarus near the Russian border city of Bryansk. 🔹 In late May, Ukrainian forces attacked a student dormitory in Russia's Starobelsk, killing 21 teenagers and wounding 44 others.

🗣 Kiev targets Russian civilian infrastructure amid frontline losses: Putin Ukraine aims to disrupt the tourist season in Russia and cause energy crises, the Russian president stated at a government meeting. 👉 He instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to step up measures to minimize the impact of these attacks.

🌍💸 West allocates more development funding to Ukraine than Africa: Russian MFA The OECD and the EU provided $44.9 billion in "development assistance" to Kiev in 2025, significantly outpacing the $29 billion given to Sub-Saharan Africa, Deputy FM Aleksandr Grushko said. 👉 This reflects a trend of diverting resources toward confrontation and suppressing emerging centers of power, he noted.

🚨 BREAKING: Andrew Tate appears to have accidentally helped REOPEN the UK criminal investigation into himself. Court documents show Tate's lawyers asked Hertfordshire Police to hand over evidence from the original investigation so they could use it against the women suing him in civil court. But when Detective Superintendent Sally Phillips reviewed the material, she became "increasingly concerned about the quality and completeness" of the original investigation. The result? Hertfordshire Police decided to launch a full CRIMINAL REINVESTIGATION into the rape and sexual assault allegations. An amazing legal own goal.

Am I the only one feeling that Putin believes that Europe would eventually hit Russia from its own territory inviting retaliation? And then even Putin, prudent as he is, would have to retaliate.

Ten years ago today, Britain voted for Brexit. Do we have evidence that Russia determined the outcome of the referendum? No. But we do know a few things. We know that Arron Banks, the biggest financial backer of Brexit, held multiple meetings with Russian diplomats during the referendum campaign. At the same time, discussions were taking place about potential Russian business opportunities, including interests in gold mining ventures. We know that Russian-linked social media accounts and troll networks were active in the Brexit information space, amplifying divisive narratives around immigration, national identity, and opposition to the European Union. And we know that Brexit aligned perfectly with the Kremlin's strategic interests: a weaker European Union, a United Kingdom removed from the EU decision-making table, and deeper political divisions across the West. We also know something else. The British government never properly investigated the full extent of potential Russian interference when it mattered most. So, ten years on, the real question is not whether Russia "caused" Brexit. The real question is why one of the most consequential geopolitical decisions in modern Western history was never thoroughly examined, despite the documented contacts between Brexit's largest donor and Russian officials, and despite the fact that the outcome was celebrated in Moscow as a strategic victory. A decade later, many questions remain unanswered.

@markomihkelson You won't have evidence so stop insulting the British people. What made us leave was the EU's increasingly authoritarian, dictatorial, imperialist attitude to land grabs, annexation and addiction to power.

@markomihkelson This was a British decision. People who waited 20 years to have their say. In fact BBC conducted a powerful pro-EU propaganda that would have beaten any other out of park. Russians may have approved with Brexit but let’s get serious about their extent of influence.
