Now I understand why you’re not keen on Shola. You already have a preferred candidate (Gabriel), likely because of the 3SC affiliation.
That’s fair. But objectively, Shola has a strong track record with the Sporting Lagos Academy.
And let’s not forget the work he did with Mees Palace FA in Jos.
In youth football in Nigeria, only a few can match what he brings.

Coach Shola is a developmental coach and one of the best. He has proven this at Mees Palace and with the Sporting Lagos Academy, both academies he has worked with are currently ranked among the top five in Nigeria. So why shouldn’t he be considered? You people are funny

After Gongo Aso went blasting everywhere, 9ice had started preparing his second album but left is the collaboration with 2Baba
The beat, the chorus and 9ice verses were ready, left is 2face verse
ID Cabasa already reached out to him and they agreed on a date for the recording
That day came, 2Baba was expected in the morning but in the afternoon he is yet to be seen..
9ice was already worried.... "Maybe if we had paid him, he would be here already?"
Cabasa told him, "don't worry he will come"
Evening time, no sign of 2face yet, 9ice, now feeling so devastated, "it's because I never blow enough though....."
He said to Cabasa again, "let's arrange money for 2face. We understand he is big".
2Phat, remember him.... A rapper and Cabasa's close pal, re-echoed 9ice's words
.
.
.
.
.
"Idowu (Cabasa's name), I agree with 9ice, let's arrange money and send to 2face"
Cabasa, almost getting angry, "I say NO, 2face will come, what's you people's problem. It's 2Baba we are talking about, he will come"
Silence everywhere. Everyone went to do what they are doing...
10pm at night, the GOAT finally showed up!
He said, "I have been at home since morning, I only intentionally didn't show up early. I am here now, let's record!"
9ice still in disbelief that 2face honoured his words mustered a sentence "Has my street cred so much increase that 2face is honouring me without any payment?"
While Cabasa was preparing, out of nowhere, 9ice sang out of his heart "I am the most incredible, out of 9ja, straight from 9ja...
Street Credibility...."
2face said, wait, repeat what you just sang again.... And 9ice repeated it...
Cabasa, 'where is the beat?" 2Baba asked
"This is not the song we are planning to do", Cabasa replied...
"Give me a beat to this chorus first", 2face insisted....
Cabasa gave him and 2Baba right there......
As I come here before you
Ah go talk am as I see am
Ah no go use any sugar cover am
Call me a Mallam
I know you understand am...
I no dey stress am
No dey use gra gra do am
After that verse from him,9ice sang the song he was singing from his mind
It matched 2face verse....
Okay, can we develop this... It's looking dope already
They did and eventually discarded the original song which they intended to collaborate on
Till today, that song wasn't released but Street Credibility became one of the greatest song outta Nigeria and Africa
Check my fans, walahi aya e aja!

#TheSportsIlluminator@RayToluAyo
Street Credibility by 9ice ft 2Baba wasn't planned.... 2face was to be featured on another song entirely but one thing led to another, Street Credibility was birthed.... I am coming with the story very soon

Most people are surprised when they hear I went from professional football to green chemistry.
But to me, it was a natural transition. ⚽️👨🏽🔬
Growing up in the south of France, I was surrounded by nature and the sea from an early age. As my football career progressed, so did my awareness of global warming and the impact that different industries have on the environment and on our health.
The products most of us use every day, from shampoos to cleaning products to paints, are still built on fossil-based ingredients. Changing that became my mission.🌱
In 2013, I co-founded GFBiochemicals to make everyday products safer and more sustainable using plant-based ingredients.
Football prepared me for this journey more than I expected the discipline, the resilience, and what it truly means to be part of a team. But there is an important shift: as a player, you’re judged on your own performance. As a founder & CEO, your role is to lead and inspire your team, and to share success together.
I spoke with Harvard Business Review France about my journey: the transition from international footballer to Green Chemistry entrepreneur, the challenge of building in a sector I came to as an outsider.

Emotional Arsenal fans now want Arteta fired, then what huh? Who gets hired? Enrique? Real Madrid are considering bringing back Mourinho,Chelsea and Man United are hiring and firing but still struggling...
Let's use UCL to judge him properly, not just the scripted league. It's not easy to beat Pep Guardiola to a league title-only 4 managers have ever done that. The Spaniard has like 75% success rate. We are talking about a manager who forced Mourinho to run away, bullied and outlasted Ferguson and Wenger ,and now manages a club with 130 charges.
This is Mikel's 3rd season in UCL ; a quarter finalist,a semi finalist and now he's a semi finalist with a real chance of reaching the final. If you want him out at this point you be mumu. We'll probably go back to finishing 8th and celebrating a top 4 finish like the United fans are desperately doing.
Were it not for Pep ,this would be Arteta's 3rd league title in his 7th year as a manager. Remember London lesbians have 6 league titles like Sunderland, they should be fighting to win their 7th and not laughing at us for failing to win our 14th.
Otherwise Mikel isn't so bad, don't let rivals gaslight you.

Havertz remains the most misunderstood forward in world football.
Havertz suffers from a false dichotomy … people reduce him to whether he delivers big moments, ignoring that he consistently performs in big occasions, and that misunderstanding is what leads to him being underrated but also incorrectly utilised.
If you’re building a game plan where he is the ‘killer’ then you’re misguided as he is never ever going to be a reliable finisher but that doesn’t mean he can’t score.
What he does give is world class link up play and pressing from the front and in the context of a cohesive unit where goals come from elsewhere ie imagine if he had a Mane and Salah either side of him, he wouldn’t be dunked down upon as he is now.
I think Arsenal biggest issue is seeing him as the problem when the recruitment to supplement him has been flawed. Where is the 20-30 goal a season winger to get in behind and be the goalscorer?
This is the equivalent of Liverpool putting a Firmino up front and expecting him to yield goals like Haaland despite his overall performance being good.

It took Pep until the 22nd of March to figure out the best way of playing for his team.
By that time, City were already knocked out of the Champions League by an Mbappé-less Madrid.
This idea that coaches ALWAYS get it right is nonsense.
Less eyes on City. Less pressure.
But the broader point centres around Arteta.
He is the reason Arsenal are in this position in the first place.
He is the reason Arsenal got their highest ever points tally in Premier League history. The reason Arsenal are competing for major titles every season. The reason Arsenal are in the Champions League semi-final for two consecutive seasons. Even though, when he arrived, the club were physically, technically, culturally, and psychologically inept.
Be grateful for what you have. And the fact that you are competing in the first place. With a club that has the fourth of fifth biggest wage bill in the league. With a club that plays by the rules. With a club that says 'no' when their coach or director wants a player for several seasons because of financial limitations. With a club that hasn't won the Premier League since 2004. Or a Champions League in their history.
Imagine if Arsenal lose the league on goal difference and lose the Champions League final.
Should Arteta be sacked? That's what people are discussing. Despite what I've said above.
Arteta is one of the best coaches in the world. In fact, he is the most complete in the world. GOOD LUCK replacing him. Similar to when Klopp left Liverpool. The foundations are so special that the next manager may succeed in the short-term, but all the best maintaining what he built over a long period of time. The only way that is possible is by replacing him with another one of the best managers in the world.
Wake up. Some people don't know what reality is, even if it slaps them in the face.

🚨🎙️ | Arsène Wenger sends message to Arsenal F.C players.:
🗣️ “You can do it — you are strong. Moments like this define who you are.”
🗣️ “I know it’s a difficult time, but difficult moments shape your future.”
🗣️ “Millions of people believe in you and are counting on you.”
🗣️ “Now is the time to bring back the joy that’s been missing for over 22 years.” ❤️

Funny how rival fans worship José Mourinho’s Chelsea like it’s untouchable history… but cry when Mikel Arteta is doing the same numbers in real time.
Mourinho (prime Chelsea):
• 64 games
• 107 goals
• 48 conceded
• 66% win rate
Arteta THIS season:
• 56 games *
• 103 goals *
• 45 conceded *
So let’s be honest…
When Mourinho does it = “elite mentality”
When Arteta does it = “Boring”
The difference?
Mourinho played terrorism football and won trophy
Arteta plays the same and about to win Trophy
Y’all don’t hate the results.
You hate WHO is doing it cos it’s Arsenal
Dami of Ibadan@DamiDhray
You all tagged Jose Morinho "the Special One" for what Arteta is doing in UCL But now you are calling Arteta boring 😂😂

Only a select few managers who’ve coached in the Premier League have reached the Champions League semifinals in consecutive seasons, and the names on that list tell you everything about the level we’re talking about.
Alex Ferguson did it back-to-back-to-back.
Pep Guardiola matched that standard with back-to-back-to-back runs.
Rafael Benítez achieved it back-to-back.
Jürgen Klopp did the same, back-to-back.
And now, Mikel Arteta has put his name in that conversation with consecutive semifinal appearances.
That alone shows he’s not just building, he’s competing at the highest level. Consistency like that in Europe doesn’t happen by luck; it’s structure, coaching, and belief.
But here’s the reality: football remembers winners.
Arteta has laid the foundation, restored identity, and brought Arsenal back among Europe’s elite. His record is strong, his trajectory is clear, and the progress is undeniable. Still, to truly cement his legacy, he needs that defining moment, lifting either the Premier League or the Champions League.
Because without the trophies, the story feels unfinished.
With one major title, though, the narrative changes instantly, from “he’s trying” to “he delivered.” And once that happens, he won’t just be mentioned alongside those names… he’ll belong there.
