Fox News can confirm that the 2nd crew member of the downed F15E fighter jet has been rescued and he and the members of the rescue team that extracted him from behind enemy lines in Iran are all safely out of Iran. That according to two senior US officials and multiple well placed sources in the region. The Weapons Systems Officer ejected along with the pilot when their F15E Strike Eagle they were flying was struck Thursday night (early Friday local time) in southwest Iran.  The WSO used the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training to evade capture, hiding on an elevated ridge after hiking away from the wreckage and putting out an emergency beacon.) US Special Operations rescue forces to include PJs (United States Air Force Pararescuemen (PJs) and many layers of elite rescue forces took part in the complex, layered mission to both find the crew member and also keep the Iranian forces who were hunting the American weapons system operator at bay. There are videos that have appeared from local eyewitnesses that show what appear to have been  injured and dead Iranian members of the IRGC and Basij who were looking for the downed American crew member. Fox has learned there was fighting on the ground but no Americans killed during the operation. “It was a very complex operation to retrieve the downed service member,” a well placed source briefed on the operation told me. Many different branches of the US military were involved in the rescue. Fox News can confirm the A10 Warthog that crashed Friday was involved in providing cover for the rescue teams searching for the pilot. That A10 crashed in Kuwait (first reported by ABC Friday) but the A10 pilot managed to eject safely and was rescued. There was destruction of aircraft which have sensitive equipment on board, I am told, all part of this complex CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) mission. The F15E was pretty much destroyed on impact. Two rescue helicopters were hit by enemy fire on  Friday and crew members onboard were injured by enemy fire but managed to make it out of Iran. There were a lot of elements to this rescue, I am told.

These cases illustrate how utterly shot the US asylum process is. These were children of regime leaders claiming to be oppressed by that same regime - and going back for visits. Yet they got asylum, LPR, and damn near citizenship.
Homeland Security@DHSgov

On April 3, 2026, @ICEgov officers in Los Angeles arrested Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and Sarinasadat Hosseiny, the niece and grandniece of Qasem Soleimani, the late head of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who was killed by a drone strike ordered by President Trump in 2020.    Soleimani Afshar entered the United States in June 2015 on a tourist visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2021, she became a green card holder under the Biden Administration. In July 2025, she filed a naturalization application where she disclosed, she traveled to Iran at least four times since being issued a green card. Her trips to Iran illustrate her asylum claims were fraudulent.   Her daughter, Sarinasadat Hosseiny, entered the United States in July 2015 on a student visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2023, she became a green card holder under the Biden administration. It is a privilege to be granted green card to live in the United States of America. If we have reason to believe a green card holder poses a threat to the U.S., the green card will be revoked.

Interesting article - notable that the collapse of certain French populations followed by partial repopulation from the periphery in the centuries prior to the Indo-Europeans conquests is exactly paralleled to population collapse & Grooved Ware expansion in Britain at same time.

A little bit of reading material for your easter vacation: We found evidence of a population collapse in France 5,000 years ago in our new paper in Nature Evology and Evolution. Check it out! nature.com/articles/s4155… #NeolithicDecline #ancientDNA

reports on the state of criminal justice in america from a practitioner sheesh
J.T. Alexander@JTAlexander_

I prosecuted in a very heavily White area. Jury trials aren't only failing because of ethnic tribalism. They're failing in large part because a jury's expectation of evidence is cartoonishly high, completely divorced from reality. They expect *everything* to be on video nowadays. They're also failing because juries are more prone to nullification than ever before. Not for any principled reason, such as believe the crime was just, but that they simply don't trust the state to charge and punish people properly and/or they don't care. E.g., I've had DUI cases where someone who was OBVIOUSLY guilty was acquitted. Multiple. In one of them I spoke to the jury afterward and they flat out told me "All the evidence was there." They just felt bad for the defendant and wanted to go home. They're also failing because judges and statutes are more pro-criminal than ever before. Judge Example: In a prosecution for DV Assault, I was prohibited from introducing evidence the Defendant having assaulted the victim previously, despite the fact the law in our jurisdiction explicitly allows for this, because the judge felt it was "too prejudicial." (Btw, this Defendant testified and confessed to every single element on the stand and the jury still returned a verdict of Not Guilty.) Statute Example: I prosecuted a woman for stealing $400,000. By law, I could not even ask for jail time because it was her first offense. The Judge had no power to grant a sentence of jail time. If you try to break the collapse of the justice system down to being only an ethnic/tribal thing, you're going to fail, because that's not anywhere near the only issue.
