@PeterObi As a loyal follower, I think you should designate one official media correspondent for your court cases to regularly brief Nigerians on updates and outcomes. We see the suits & retraction demands, but rarely hear what happened afterwards. This would help a lot sir. #PO

Kenneth Okonkwo’s Response to an Unread Letter. 🤣 A man who says he has not read the letter has already argued with it, threatened over it, responded to it, and challenged it to court. He says he hasn’t read it, yet somehow knows enough about it to dismiss it, warn the lawyers, and prepare a counterattack. Imagine what will happen when he finally reads it.

If there is one thing I like about Peter Obi, it's the way he guides his reputation. Peter Obi can leave you to say all manners of things about his person, but the moment you add fraud to your criticism, then you will surely have your day in court. So, Kenneth Okonkwo went live and alleged that Peter Obi, alongside leaders of the South-East Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) caucus, informed House of Representatives and Senate aspirants that they had to pay a ₦10 million bribe to secure party tickets after paying the standard expression-of-interest fees. He claimed that eager aspirants paid these sums believing transparent primaries would follow, only for Peter Obi to allegedly sit in a hotel room, "John Wood Hotel," personally writing down a pre-selected list of candidates. Peter Obi did not argue nor trade words or respond publicly. Instead, He quietly instructed his lawyers to serve Kenneth Okonkwo with a seven-day ultimatum, demanding not only a retraction of the alleged malicious publication but also an unreserved apology and an additional compensation of ₦5 billion for what he considers reckless allegations. I do not know how much Kenneth Okonkwo has made from the service he renders to Atiku so far, but I am not sure it is up to one-third of ₦5 billion. Whatever it is, Kenneth Okonkwo will now have his day in Court and I think that is what truly matters right now. The only reason I pity him is that even the man he claimed told him all these things has come out publicly to say he never did. That alone raises a very serious question because If the alleged source has denied the story, where exactly will Kenneth Okonkwo find the evidence to substantiate such weighty claims? That, however, is a matter for his legal team to worry about. At least, if in the end it is established that such a thing never happened, the ₦5 billion that might be slammed against him could go a long way in financing the Obi and Kwankwaso campaign. Under the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund, four flagship projects today. FEMADEC Energy at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri — the first of twenty CNG refuelling stations in our federal universities. Portland Gas at Ojota, Lagos — a 96,000 SCMD CNG mother station, with a daughter station in Kubwa, Abuja. Ibile Oil and Gas, with its network of fifteen CNG refuelling stations across Lagos State. And Rolling Energy at Jahi, Abuja — anchoring a portfolio of seventeen RLNG and LCNG facilities across Kaduna, Kano and Borno. Together, these projects will lower transport costs, expand cleaner energy, and strengthen our energy sovereignty. In the health sector, thirteen new projects today across all six zones — every one of them ribbon-cut on the ground today. Six new facilities at our federal teaching hospitals: the President Bola Tinubu Complex at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja; the Trauma Centre Pharmacy Quality Control Laboratory at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria; the Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology Centre at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi; the new Mental Health Complex at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital; the new Administrative Complex at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu; and the Laboratory Complex at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. Also commissioned are the State Emergency Operations Centres in Kano, Sokoto and Katsina; the newly constructed Lagos Vaccine Hub in Oshodi; and the National Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance System fleet — one hundred and forty-five tricycle ambulances, six boat ambulances, and seventy-nine new ambulances for our federal hospitals.
