For those questioning my positivity and optimism. I’m being positive because I want to be positive. Because I desperately want us to stay up. Because I will believe until it’s no longer possible that this nightmare will end before it’s too late. The alternative is to say it’s over already. To give up. To say the club deserves it. That the owners deserve it. That the players deserve it. I’ve even heard some say that the fans deserve it (somehow). I believe these players will find something in themselves to win one game, with the help of their new manager. I believe that win will have a ripple effect on the remaining games and that we will end up looking back on this season as a lesson learned that can never be allowed to happen again. Do I think we’re too big to go down? Yes. I do. Because we are. Tottenham Hotspur should not be playing football in the Championship. I implore you all to believe it won’t happen and not to give up while there’s still hope. Positivity breeds positivity. The same applies to negativity. We are going to get out of this. COYS

It’s never been more over

Im honestly not fussed in the slightest that Romero is missing the rest of the season So many of you for some strange reason absolutely adore him and bow down to him kissing his feet, and why? Hes not committed to the club and he will be, just like Van De Ven, one of the first players ro hand in a transfer request and demand he is sold. You watch his agent come out firing about how a player of Romeros quality must be playing at a high level And again, I ask....HOW? He has been in the Captain of us for one season. A captain is meant to inspire and drive a team forward and he has done NONE of that. He is one of the most uninspiring individuals I have ever seen pull on a Tottenham shirt. He is never a leader, never a captain However in Danso, we have a player who I truly believe will still be at the heart of our defence next season. A steady head who has always spoken so well when given interview time. I look at Danso and think we have someone we can rely on and someone who genuinely is not afraid ro put his body on the line and is someone who doesnt put the team under pressure by attempting to purposely break legs in anger I'll be more than happy to see Danso given the final run of games over Romero and he has my full support!

@Tottenham_Feed Honestly.. luck. Yesterday, bad refereeing and a deflected goal. Tudor’s reign was full of bad luck, Muani disallowed goal, Wilson goal that should have been disallowed, Micky red card.

Really smart man management from Roberto De Zerbi, it’s doing multiple things at once: He’s aligning himself with a manager they respected and loved playing for, allowing everyone to mentally park Frank and Tudor like it never happened, while praising them for the best of Angeball and siding with a figure they admire rather than coming in and saying he’s here to change everything. And most importantly, he’s taking them mentally back to a time when they were confident, front-footed, and believing in themselves. Forget the last few months of total negative football bollocks and go back to what you know. That’s buy-in, connection, that’s how you reset a group.

Plenty of doubts about De Zerbi and clearly, no guarantees with anyone. But Tottenham landing a coach of his quality & status at this point, in this position, would frankly be a no-brainer compared to alternative options. What long-term? One focus: stay up.
