It did a full roll rotation, wow! This is a weird "wrap around" problem - if your control system is trying to drive roll to 0 degrees and you're at 179 deg, when you hit 180(or -179) you have to start working with the disturbance instead of against it. Doing that gently is hard!

Today we begin our dive into the F-5 variants with the legendary T-38 Talon! The Northrop T-38 Talon was the world’s first supersonic jet trainer, and it’s still in service more than 60 years later. Even wilder, NASA uses T-38s as astronaut proficiency jets, meaning many astronauts fly a 1960s-era trainer to stay sharp before heading to space. #aviation #nasa #t38
