Dr. Pawloski visited ACM today to inspire teachers with insights on building strong relationships and boosting student engagement!

Momin Mahmood submitted his personal artwork for Doodle for Google. He was a 55 State and Territory Finalist competing for the National title. After being inspired by her STEAM class, he presented Mrs. Barnett with a 2024 Art Appreciation Award Plaque from Doodle for Google!

Yesterday, our ACM Student Council and the 6th Grade Team teachers hosted the New Pirate Meet & Greet to welcome our 6th-grade students to the Pirate Community. Kids learned about our school expectations, played games, and toured the school. 💙🏴‍☠️

ACM’s Social Studies Teacher, Mrs. Bree Webre, was accepted into the George Washington Teacher Institute this summer to learn more about Leadership and Washington's legacy. She even had the honor of laying a wreath at his tomb.

C Dillon was selected to join the All-American team,marching in Disney over Thanksgiving.D Campbell was selected as a Pin It Forward recipient,pinning the Captain from Thibodaux High and B Joseph was pinned by a teammate of LHS.HUGE SHOUTOUT is also extended to their coaches!

The ACM Cheer Team was acknowledged as the most improved team out of all the teams at UCA camp this past week. They received a blue ribbon for the camp dance routine, and they learned a lot of new skills that they are excited to add into routines for this year.

Our ACM 2024-25 Cheer Team participated in an annual Stunt Clinic with JBM and HMS (the host school). Our Pirates worked really hard, persevering through challenges, bonding with others, and learning new things. We are super excited to see what the future brings! GEAUX, Pirates!
