Big Shots Spotlight! Cam Pleasants @Campleasants5 (6’2 2028 Benedictine College Prep) A high academic (4.0 gpa), ) high character and high IQ two sport standout (FB), Cam can flat out shoot it! Showcasing smooth mechanics and a quick release he shoots it with assassin-like accuracy from all areas and his range extends effortlessly well beyond the three point arc. He’s a long 6’2, uses rangy strides and maneuvers through traffic nicely to score in the paint and around the rim. Graceful strides but fearless aggression attacking the rim. Cam hits the dribble pull-up at a high percentage. Skilled, athletic, poised. In addition to his athletic excellence in football (safety/wide receiver) and basketball and his academic achievements, Cam was recently awarded the Michael J Saady Memorial Scholarship which recognizes his high character. The scholarship recognizes students who show respect and courtesy on a daily basis and is selected by the Benedictine Staff and Faculty.
