Mission70 reward cuts sound good on paper; less minting+less sell pressure = higher price. BUT the APY on our locked 8year neurons drop 12.3% to 7%. We'd need 1.75x price appreciation just to break even on lost yield. Emission cuts help. They DON'T guarantee it. Adoption does.

I got many questions about this topic so here we go: -DFINITY currently has 21.75% Voting Power -DFINITY has not yet voted on M70 -Moreover, many people follow DFINITY which means their voting power is even larger The outcome of this decision is now in their hands. They have 3 options: -Vote NO: I do not think this is going to happen as they have proposed M70 -Abstain: In this case, it will be very tight. -Vote YES: If that is the case, this proposal should pass It might happen that they will wait until the last moment to have a better understanding of the community sentiment. M70 is now LIVE🔥 From previous proposals, it was clear that a large whale holding ~7–8% voting power is against it. We’ve also seen multiple spam proposals instantly getting that same 7–8%, which, in my opinion, looked like attempts to sabotage the blockchain. This time, that same player waited for M70 to go live to influence the outcome from the start. I’ll say it clearly: this attempt will fail.
