I don’t give a shit that it’s a slight progress on last season, we’ve bottled it and not just today. Not making the playoffs from our position that we had is a failure. Baring a couple of games, we have been so poor this last 10 games when it matters and that says it all for me.

@BenPearson1997 @DAWUK17 We shouldn’t get caught how we do though. Two defensive minded midfielders to cover the back line and it’s still not been enough at times. Think we need quicker full backs and wingers but they cost money and we don’t have much of it going spare unfortunately.

@BenPearson1997 @DAWUK17 I don’t see much wrong with our set up on paper. We should have more than adequate defensive cover to not get exposed how we do. It came down to an individual striker bullying all our defenders yesterday even when he was outnumbered. That’s on the players.

@BenPearson1997 Yes I like him as well. It’s been the most pleasing aspect of the Watson/Mitchell era for me that we have come away from losing a key player and the wheels come off to now we just get someone in who’s just as good, if not better. Recruitment success rate is brilliant.

@BenPearson1997 He’s been a hell of a find him. They’ve got a great youth set up at Carlisle, There’s a a couple of others from that squad we got Lowes from that could do a job for us. Crazy they are only the league above with the set up throughout the club that they have.

@si_hahn89 Biggest game since the great escape when we beat (I think) Farsley to secure our place in the NLN. A win would go along way to securing a play off spot. Anything else and it’s going to the wire for us.

@Official_Darlo Not great but was always going to be a tough ask to get anything here. Season will come down to the games against Scarborough and Telford. Two wins in those games would just about get us over the line.

Great news! It’s been a consistent improvement since the day they walked though the door when we looked doomed for relegation a couple of years ago. Now let’s get into those playoffs and see where that takes us!
