After watching the Bus Simulator 27 Demo I through the island was deserted.

⚠️ J’ai été invité à tester une version Preview du jeu Bus Simulator 27 durant quelques jours. Verdict : ça m’a agréablement surpris ⚠️ Pour la toute première fois c’est le studio polonais Simteract (Taxi Life, Train Life) qui s’occupe du développement. De son côté, le studio autrichien StillAlive (qui bossait sur les anciens opus) vient de sortir Bus Bound 🚏 Dans le nouveau Bus Simulator 27, on retrouve donc le gameplay habituel de la franchise (vente de billets, gestion de la rampe pour fauteuils roulants…) mais dans un open-world gigantesque de 64km2 🗺️ Cette map fictive, inspirée de l’Espagne et du Portugal, s’appelle Felicia Bay et on peut totalement l’explorer à pieds (il y a même tout un tas d’objets cachés à trouver). Au total, en sus de son cycle jour-nuit et de sa météo dynamique, le terrain de jeu comprend 2 immenses villes divisées en 20 quartiers, 90 points d’intérêt et 250 arrêts de bus 🥵 Côté conduite, à la manette les sensations étaient excellentes, donc j’attends de voir s’il en sera de même pour la totalité des 45 bus et autocars présents au lancement du jeu. On aura d’ailleurs droit à 13 constructeurs (Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, MAN…), et bien sûr on pourra customiser nos véhicules, ainsi que créer / modifier notre personnage et nos trajets📍 Visuellement, sur cette version Preview (Steam) j’ai été un peu déçu. L’ambiance méditerranéenne est chouette ok, mais l’Unreal Engine 5 n’apporte rien de dingue, tandis que techniquement sur PC le jeu souffre pour le moment de micro-freezes, de textures baveuses et autres bugs d’affichage. Je croise donc les doigts pour que l’expérience soit meilleure d’ici à la sortie, et notamment sur PS5 et Xbox 🤞🏻 Espérons également que le multijoueur tourne bien, car le jeu est intégralement faisable à 4 en coop online (cross-play). Dans tous les cas, ce Bus Simulator 27 proposera 3 modes de jeu (Histoire / Carrière / Bac à sable), et on pourra incarner aussi bien un chauffeur qu’un contrôleur, ou encore un simple passager 🚍 BS27 sortira le 8 septembre 2026 sur PC et consoles (en physique comme en digital) à un tarif de 35€ 👍🏼 Une très bonne nouvelle au vu du contenu assez gargantuesque proposé ! @CartoonXbox The additional markers show all the stations, tunnels, viaducts, signal boxes, junctions, level crossings, etc, including their respective heights ASL (above sea level) and distances from Tidmouth Bridge Signal Box, the entrance/exit from the sheds to the Main Line.
