Senior Footballers continued preparation for the Munster Final in Lixnaw this evening with a good session ahead of Friday's final. Well done to all the boys and thanks to Lixnaw GAA for the use of their great facilities. Match throw in time and venue to follow.

First years made St Brigid’s Day crosses today in Religion class to celebrate the beginning of Spring and St Brigid’s feast day on Monday.

Our students welcomed Vivienne Sayers O’Callaghan to our school today who spoke about all things Marketing, Media and Music. She shared some very interesting insights about how she became so successful and how her love for all things Irish became her niche in the US.

Our golfers had a great time today with Brian O’Callaghan, head pro at Ballybunion Golf Club giving us lots of useful tips on how to use our driver. 👏👏

Twenty TY Erasmus students had a lovely time at their Team Building afternoon. They are looking forward to seeing their French friends in Causeway in March and of course to going to France in April. This Erasmus project is funded by the EU.

Last week our 5th year students were among 1,800 students who gathered at the INEC Killarney for the AXA Road Safe Road Show in association with An Garda Síochána Kerry and Kerry County Council. A very powerful message for our students .

Well done to the Senior Footballers who defeated Kilrush CS to progress to the Munster Final. An amazing achievement for this group who are the first senior (U19) football team in 23 years to make a Munster final. We have had numerous success over the years at First, U15, U17

J.C.S.P students who enter the national 'Numeracy in My Life' competition received their certificates of recognition this week.Well done to every one who took part with a special mention to Hannah Sheehy as her image was used on all certificates distributed nationally.

Best of luck to the Senior Football Team who continue their Munster Campaign tomorrow against Kilrush Community School in the Semi Final of the Corn Sheain ui Mholonaigh.

Well done to the U19 boys basketball team today who played in the All Ireland Schools Quarter Final Playoffs in Galway. The boys defeated Athlone CC and faced Clarin College Galway after a 15 min break. With tired legs the lads struggled in the last quarter and lost by 8 points.

Well done to our 2nd years girls football who played against ISK Killorglin today. Great effort by all in difficult conditions but unfortunately we came up short.

Best of luck to the U19 Boys Basketball Team and coach Mr O'Connor in the All Ireland Quarter Final playoffs tomorrow. The boys have worked really hard and are the first u19 boys team ever to reach this stage.

5th Year Leaving Cert PE students enjoyed a very fun-filled and educational day at MTU Sports Academy for their annual LCPE Learning Event on Thursday. The students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of practical workshops which link to their project work.

Our TY's participated in an ICGG course today. Hopefully their local clubs can benefit from their learnings today. Well done to all who participated. They were a fantastic group with some great insight into coaching.
