@CityPowerJhb Why is it the same areas with power outages, in one week multiple outages in Observatory and surrounding areas. What is the actual real problem? 9 hours in no update, it's cold and we sit day in and out with no electricity. This is not fair.

@CityPowerJhb Some parts of Cyrildene and Observatory have power, why don't the rest of us have power of this is a substation issue? Can you guys just tell us the truth. It's 4 days without power yet some parts have had power. It's cold, we have no food and your updates are false.

The disruption was caused by the vandalism of the RMU, located at Phile Street in Observatory. The affected areas include Cyrildene, Kensington, De Wetshof, Observatory, and surrounding locations. Despite the ongoing rainfall in the area, our teams are working diligently to complete the installation. We anticipate complete restoration by 18:30 this evening, pending successful testing results. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. ^PC

@CityPowerJhb Stop giving us bogus etrs. You guys said electricity will be restored by 18:30 it’s 18:52. Been going on for 3 days. Be honest give realistic expectations instead of blowing smoke up our face and leading us on to false hope. Get your facts straight before you make statements. Sek
