So you were a 1st round pick? Two teams F'd their drafts up. You were either too stupid, too stubborn, or not athletic enough to figure it out. You "made it" to AA, where you proceeded to get ass handled for 13 games? If you aren't teaching kids to do it 'EXACTLY the opposite of everything I ever did' when it comes to pitching STFU. A first-round pick who could never figure out how to throw strikes. But ya, I bet you can teach the hell out of it. I played with HUNDREDS of you, and most ended up how you did. Out of the game but claiming they were smarter than everyone else. BTW, your "best year"? Ya that 5.08 season in the SALLY league? A Ball? I was busy winning a third World Series ring, getting guys out with smoke and mirrors.

To all high school and portal recruits: If you want to play for a school that pouts and then takes their ball & goes home when they don’t get their way, Notre Dame is your place. Who needs the extra 3 weeks of player development or that one extra game when you’re a senior. It’s Notre Dame, it just means more than, you know, football. It’s about being the best pouter and temper tantrum thrower you can be. So, if you want special rules for your football team, and you want a place with an overrated campus that’s in the middle of a town on par with Gary, Indiana…choose South Bend. 🙄
