Failure is the single largest motivator for learning, growth, and future success. I say this from my own experience. Here I will lay out some of my failures and what I learned from it and how it shaped me. It will be long but please bear with me. 1/18

While on the topic of parenting I want to make you think about something the next time your kid talks back to you: You created such an unbelievably safe space for them that they feel completely safe talking that smack. Sure, it's a problem in itself, but if you're like me, and think "my parent would have slapped that taste out of my mouth" and then simply tell the kiddo that they lost a privilege or some such thing instead of doing what your parents would have done... congrats, you broke the cycle

My 14 y/o daughter has a boy over. This is a first. My wife left me here to chaperone I hate it here.
