Whenever I think of "furries" as a whole, my brain IMMEDIATELY smells that Old Spice Wolfthorn scent...it's so crazy how closely connected our memory is with our sense of smell!

@furrtek I don't know if there's an innate reason for it, or if it's just from long convention. The Win 9x could also have just been a side effect of mirroring other placements, likely swapping left and right positions in the UI. I think either of the top corner orientations can work

Shower thought: Why do we assume that A is bevelled (button) and B recessed (data field) ? Is it because we naturally think that the light source (sun) comes from above and that's how the 3D edges are drawn ?

Fun fact! These were originally made because the light bulb socket predated the electrical outlet! Home electricity was first just for lighting, not general use. Early appliances like vacuums had screw threads for power!. these adaptors were for homes without general use sockets!

Man you must be pretty desperate for power if you’re unscrewing light bulbs to power something lol. This came in a bunch of travel adapters dropped into me for recycling. I haven’t seen one like this before.

I like this fix on the top! Nothing wrong with putting a radial cap on when you don’t have the right SMT cap on hand, but whoever did it used a too-small iron.

@XerShadowTail Sounds like it's already going to be challenged, but hopefully survives non-competes have become any too widespread where they shouldn't exist. I hope Canada follows (even if we have slightly better protections that the US, common law doesnt look to favorably on them)
