@LinkN01 You need to check out CheapCharts. Buy movies or shows when they reduced in price and get rid of streaming subscriptions

Streaming services are getting really shitty. The big reason Piracy died was becouse the service we got from Netflix 10 years ago was great. Now, to watch same amount of content, I need several streaming services, some content are even geofenced if you dont use VPN. It's like the entertainment industry is begging for Piracy to come back.

Welp. It appears there is a roll up arrow icon on the right of the words “price information” that I can’t confirm as to its presence in the past. But the price history was rolled up and not showing. Sorry @CheapCharts_US for not seeing that earlier.

If you are like me and you refuse to pay for streaming services bc they’re filled with shitty woke garbage and you prefer to purchase your movies in iTunes, CheapCharts is invaluable and I highly recommend it. You can find any movie listed in iTunes and set up a price alert so you’ll be notified when it goes on sale. iTunes movies go on sale for as low as $5 all the time and this app makes finding the deals so easy @CheapCharts_US

@nethead There will be a new TestFlight release coming in the next few days. It could be tomorrow, depending on how quickly Apple approves it.

Purchasing movies or tv shows on AppleTV without CheapCharts is like thinking you got a great deal—until you see the same thing at half price five minutes later.

Letterboxd ratings? Why not? This was something many users requested and guess what, we just added it! In addition to the other ratings you know, you can now view, filter, and sort by the Letterbox rating of any movie. Will also be available on our apps soon.

@SimonBarker Thanks for your suggestion, we are working on more filters / sort options for "MyPurchases" and runtime is a nice idea! We will discuss this 🙂

@robemstevedave Thank you. Yeah, I really can't imagine anyone really buying SD these days with all the great TVs out there...

@CheapCharts_US Certainly on the Phone the setting still exists to purchase Standard Def. Whether that works as it says or not I don't know. I rather there just be one format. Everyone gets SD, HD, 4K versions, but I know that is not realistic especially these days.

Can anyone confirm that Is it true that you can't buy / show SD movies in AppleTV if there is also HD/4K ?available? On iTunes you were able to switch between SD/HD. Seems to be gone in AppleTV. Not that it bothers me but then we can remove SD price from CheapCharts.
