Nakasone, who led the NSA from 2018 to 2023, will join OpenAI's Safety and Security Committee. He will help improve AI’s role in cybersecurity by detecting and responding to threats quickly. M-SDF approximates an arbitrary Signed Distance Function with a set of small volumetric grids with different centers and scales. This representation is: - Fast to compute - Parameter efficient - Compatible with Transformer-based architectures. We’re excited about how this research could contribute to more effective and efficient 3D generative models.
