Welcome to the Showdown Collection Series! 🏝️ This weekly series invites the community to create and submit art of any type for the highlighted Showdown theme of each week. Week 3: Event 1 Theme: Team Foundation vs. Team Ice King (Act I) Event Duration: April 7th (6:00 PM ET) – April 14th (8:00 PM ET) Giveaway: There will be 10 winners in this event. Out of those 10 winners, I will select my favorite, top-5 works of art and gift each of those artists an in-game gift of their choice for 1,500 V-Bucks or less. All winners will be given the opportunity to share their artwork on the community website (flotownhockey.com) Rules: ➡️ This week’s theme revolves around Team Foundation vs. Team Ice King (Act I). Entrants must create and submit a work of art that's connected to either team's characters, environments, gameplay or track rewards from "Act I" of this season in any capacity. Choose a side (or two) and show us why your team deserves to win this battle for supremacy! ➡️ Artwork can be posted in the comments down below through a wide variety of formats such as: photos, videos, drawings, short stories, etc. There is no real limit on the creativity for these submissions! ➡️ All submitted artwork must be original and made by you (no stealing or reposting art from others; including templates and AI-generated artwork). ➡️ You may only enter this event on one account. Do not use multiple accounts to submit artwork. ➡️ Users who cheat or manipulate the rules in any capacity will be blocked from this page (without question). ➡️ Do not submit artwork that is NSFW. ➡️ All submissions must fit within the combined limits of 1-2 posts down below. ➡️ At the end of this event, I will hand-select 10 winners from the submissions below. ➡️ Winners will be chosen based on a variety of factors in their artwork such as: originality, creativeness, storytelling, color usage, composition, evoked emotion, overall aesthetic and more. ➡️ It is my hope that, by the end of this series, you’ll be able to showcase a full collection of Showdown-themed artwork to the rest of the world! ➡️ Have fun with this series and let me know if you have any questions down below. @Starlight_Skull I like to think his war effort was unknowingly backed by the IO to do the dirty work of fighting off the immediate danger so the IO didn’t have to waste resources on it

Reminder that J.B. Chimpanski led the war effort and rallied the loopers against The Cube Queen and the Cubes while the I.O. did nothing and Slone moved a truck to a bunker that did nothing.

@FlotownHockey Epic could not have shot this season in the foot harder, it’s a shame because this season is truly phenomenal, it’s just the higher ups and T*m Sw**ny that are ruining everything

I made a post regarding these topics a few years ago. My “hot take” was that Epic Games shouldn’t release tons of new game modes or UEFN updates without fully developing or playtesting them first. This oversight resulted in higher player dissatisfaction, more developer layoffs and slower production across the board. This has been a tough start to a new season so hopefully things get better for everyone soon 🙏❤️

Because of Tim Sweeney: - The Fortnite Metaverse was rushed and resources were stripped from the storyline & events - Donald Mustard retired from Epic Games - 1,000+ Epic Employees were laid off in September 2023 - Fortnite's story suffered greatly from the lack of resources - Billions of dollars were spent fighting Apple & Google and Tim joked about it causing financial problems in the future - UEFN creators were, for no good reason, paid almost $800 million dollars in the past year - On March 19th, V-Bucks prices were increased and the amount we received was reduced - 1,000+ more Epic Employees were just laid off today Every time we even reach a potential high for this game & things look good for everyone, Tim Sweeney manages to bring it all down. He is the ROOT of all the problems with Fortnite & Epic Games in recent years. ALL OF THIS happened because he thought Fortnite can be just like Roblox and it took him FOUR YEARS to realize that it can't be. And only after he had done SO MUCH damage to both this game & the company. I genuinely cannot believe how someone can be so stupid. Again, I am so heartbroken for all the employees who were laid off today. Not a single one of them deserved this. They put so much love & care into this game only to then be laid off. I truly wish them the best moving forward. Try and support them as much as possible, along with the employees who weren't laid off either. It's taking a toll on all of them.
