I have had a whole series of "asset recovery specialists" contacting me about recovering my rekeyed account. All of them have been demanding large upfront payments to "finance the recovery process" and all of them say I need to cooperate. Are any of these services legitimate? Most of them have been telling me lies about the locked account or giving me technical jargon that doesn't match what has been happening. They all say they can freeze the assets and force a rekey but only if I pay them first. They all seem like scams to me.
