@Chrishzl7 that's not ai generation; that is sound mixing, and there are authorized versions that any production can use in their episodes/movies, just like ncisla has with tlofr themes, twice.

@odonnellsptfan Didn't mean it was full generated by AI but I remember one time they used a theme from Lord of the Rings and slowed the tempo to nearly unrecognizable. I don't think they payed for using the music?

@Chrishzl7 ncisla has done that—use full on AI-generated music, when the technology didn't even exist then?! well, show me a concrete example of any used on the show that was entirely generated from AI platforms, from beat to voice & everything in between, with the artist being nonexistent

@odonnellsptfan Agree. I really don't like what's to come from AI in the future. Makes me sad and anxious 😟. Just read, that a complete book was created by AI and not even mentioned until a researcher found out.😤

@Chrishzl7 it's one thing to use digital programming to mix up sounds &/or the voice of a real singer/artist—that's been done for decades; it's a very different one to generate "music" on AI platforms by writing a prompt & waiting for it to compile from what was stolen from real people

@odonnellsptfan You are aware that filmmaking and TV show making involved AI generated music for years? NCISLA did this, too. They either have payed for original music or have been using AI music, but they haven't it described as AI before.😅

never imagined chris, of all people in the industry, would ever be involved in such a project that has this type of behavior towards creators (having in mind what the ai usage means), especially since he's now an exec prod (technically has a say on what goes on), but here we are
