Hello Twitter Eventing fans. I am trying to subscribe for Badminton TV, but it is only showing a US dollar option, which I don’t mind, but it is refusing my credit cards, which is annoying. I have plenty of credit available. Anyone else struggling, or am I just thick?

Sorry to have lost an amazing horse, Arctic Soul. He was one of Eventing’s over achievers. Like all competitors, he had a couple of blips, but his cross country record shows: 4*S - 11 clear in time, 4*L - 3 clear in time, and 5* - 8 clear in time. Pretty damn good.

Somebody very kindly sent us this picture of Chilli, but without a note or any sending address. If anyone knows who it is from, it would be lovely to know!

@Tropicania1 Hello - remember that this model is paying ALL the prize money, plus all TV production. H&C offer great coverage of general events, but the 5 stars are a special case. Other sponsors are pulling out, this is a model to help the sport survive

Credit where credit is due - after some problems, Discovery+ Olympic Eventing coverage is working. Looking forward to watching the xc “as live” in the morning. The full replay option is the way to go and also sleep. Just avoid all media beforehand!

Discovery channel is down - “technical difficulties” - so cannot see the dressage I have paid to see. I know equestrian is not the biggest audience in the world, but we are passionate, willing to pay to watch, it lease treat us seriously! And @FEI, do something useful for once.

This is for the Eventing geeks. This filly is out of ChicoBella P (embryo transfer) by Chilli Rocks (Chilli Morning x Quicklook V). All three horses named above were shortlisted for the Rio Olympics, and 2 of them went. Give it 10 years…..

@charliersmith1 Completely agree. Lots of people, me included, take meds to help our bodies sort out the imbalances that they are producing. No one ever questions my liver medication, but without it I would be in constant pain. Science/Medicine works! No shame in that.

It’s okay to talk - but it’s also okay to take medication. I have bipolar disorder, and take several tablets a day to keep me well. Being on meds is nothing to be ashamed of, and stigma around it needs to stop 💚

It is a shame that administrators are determined to keep a closed shop for wealthy amateurs.
