Cold brew is pretty easy, just add 1/2 cup of coffee grounds to 4 cups of cold water in a large jar/bottle and let it sit in the fridge for a full day before straining out all the coffee grounds. It’s something to do with how cold water extracts the flavor, but not the acidity from the coffee grounds like hot water does.

i developed acid reflux in 2023 & i don’t tend to get heart burn but i’ll get really bad nausea and vertigo if i eat/drink any of my bad foods, coffee is a hugeee one for me. i only drink it now if i don’t mind having terrible reflux issues later. i can maybe try dark roast, i don’t make my own coffee ever haha

i haven’t had coffee in like 6 months.. i’m tempted to buy an iced latte from tim hortons but i know that’ll fuck my stomach up 😭 i just miss the taste of iced coffee

@gildfae @cemeteryfaerie @1I1chunk Galvanized steel also can have chromium as well as zinc! And most grades of stainless steel other than surgical steel (316) and 304 stainless will contain enough nickel to cause irritation in people with sensitivities,

It says the metal I different throughout the listing and says it’s coated in zink….zink is the absolute worst for skin

Need to catch up on chainmaille now but my garden is started.

Now that work inspections are wrapped up I can finally go all in on my summer chainmaille and garden projects. Apologies for the delays to everyone.

Still catching up! But the inspection today went fabulously.

Also prepping for an inspection at work might be contributing.

Creative flow a little slower than usual lately. Maybe cause it’s been raining so much lately and just making me feel drained.

This week is kinda shitty.

@nerdylilpeach I’ve weighed 240lb at two different times in my life. Once was when I was most healthy, once when I was least healthy.

seeing how different people look at the same weight is part of what healed my fixation on the scale the numbers literally mean nothing

Meal prepped for the next 4 days so that I can just do chainmail after work and not have to concern myself with dinner and the cleaning that comes with it.

I’m still on track to likely have a website up next month, and am still trying to stock materials as much as possible. Also have 3-4 orders pending, so things got busy. Real fast.

Kinda sucks when artists just pull all their ideas off Pinterest and other sharing boards. How is that any better than mass produced Import stuff. That’s how art stagnates and stops evolving.
