Adds: Houston +700 1u Not going to lie I totally thought I posted my Houston future from about a month ago but I guess I did not. I have +950 but I think +700 is still fine. Kelvin Sampson on a revenge tour and the region is completely wide open with the Florida loss yesterday. Illinois +1500 1u Adding Illinois here even though they play Houston. I like the winner of this to go to the final four and I cant say I have been very impressed with Duke thus far with their injuries. I think both teams can put up a fight and beat Duke. Think this is still a solid number on Illinois.

College Basketball Futures: With a down slate think its a good day to get a couple futures in. To win it all: Iowa State +1400 .75u Iowa State has been awesome for the past few weeks and Ive been very impressed. Lipsey, Jefferson, and Momcilovic is a three headed monster and Toure has been great as a freshman and should only get better. Only worry here is the lack of depth but this is a good number in my opinion that should only get lower. Alabama +2500 .5u I love me some teams with good guard play (which is why I had Florida last year). Alabama arguably has the best guard play in the country in Philon, Wrightsell, and Holloway. When these guards are clicking they can beat anybody in the country on any given night. Great value on the Tide here.

Damn. This sucks. McDermott is a fantastic coach and sad he had to go out with such a disappointing season. With that said, the program should be in great hands with Alan Huss.
