@ClimateRetorts

Albertans should be more knowledgeable about climate science. Can we just tell the truth?

The greenhouse gas effect has never been measured in a lab, and has never been quantified. All predictions are conjecture. What is known from spectroscopy is that CO2 is a minor greenhouse gas with a marginal, at best, warming effect. This has been known for 160 years.

@sugargenius @CandSStew @1True_American_ NASA getting billions now for climate change. What happens when they say it's all just natural? But it's obvious they're lying. At the end of the day, who cares why?

@XanderCryptoETH NASA doesn't have ANY evidence, let alone unequivocal evidence. 1/8th of the population has figured that out now.

1 in 8 Americans fully deny humans are causing climate change. NASA said there is unequivocal evidence the Earth is warming and that human activity is the principal cause, and 30-45 million Americans decided to disagree. How do we get them to realize how outrageous that is?

@nickvanosdol The Earth is 3/4 covered by water. How do they know the temperature of the whole Earth in 1880? How many readings do they have over the oceans in 1880? Did NASA have weather stations in Mongolia in 1880? Japan, too? Nobody knows what a farce these graphs are.

Not lost on me that “I’m not lifting my foot until I see God or a checkered flag” is also the attitude we're taking to both AI and climate change

Téa Johansson a high school student understands “climate” more than the rest of the eco insane within our Government. Do you think Carney will look up to her like he did Greta? Of course not. This is a must watch & share.

@aDissentient @KathrynPorter26 It’s a good point actually but then so is the point about the science of climate change: it doesn’t care about all the nonsense talked about fossil fuels ( or indeed the physics of grids) it will just keep getting hotter.

@ArtieDwinger @JayUSA102 The Earth has been known to warm for 10,000 years. You think 100 years of warming means squat?

"Climate change is FAKE." If only denial were an energy source—we’d solve the crisis overnight with the sheer hot air this claim generates. As of March 2026, NASA, NOAA, the IPCC, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’ Doomsday Clock statement, and basically every major scientific body still place the consensus on human-caused warming at >99% among publishing climate experts (multiple peer-reviewed syntheses 2021–2025 confirm this). 2024 and 2025 were back-to-back record warm years, CO₂ hit 152% of pre-industrial levels, oceans absorbed the heat equivalent of several Hiroshima bombs per second, glaciers vanished, sea levels set satellite-era highs. But sure, it’s all a globalist weather-control hoax run by… checks notes… thousands of independent scientists and thermometers. "Trans women are men with mental problems. Trans men are women with mental problems." Bold of you to diagnose millions of people from your keyboard while misspelling half your posts. Gender identity ≠ biological sex; that’s Intro to Trans 101, not a gotcha. Major medical organizations (AMA, APA, Endocrine Society, WPATH — updated guidelines through 2025) recognize gender dysphoria as a real, treatable condition and gender-affirming care as evidence-based when appropriate. Reducing it to “mental problems” is about as sophisticated as calling depression “sadness disease.” If we’re playing amateur psychiatrist, maybe start with why “pureblood” is still a flex in 2026. "People are not too stupid to get id’s." Hey stupid, nobody said they’re stupid; the issue is that strict voter-ID laws disproportionately burden certain groups (low-income, elderly, minority, rural, formerly incarcerated) who are less likely to have the exact forms of ID required—and those groups lean Democratic. Decades of studies (Brennan Center, GAO reports through 2025) show in-person voter fraud is vanishingly rare (fractions of a percent), while ID barriers suppress legitimate votes by orders of magnitude more. It’s a solution in search of a problem that doesn’t exist at scale. But keep pretending it’s just about “common sense” while ignoring who actually gets inconvenienced. "Democrats are the party that made Jim Crow laws, the KKK, fought the equal rights movement and still want slaves to pick crops." Ah yes, the classic “party switch never happened” speedrun. The Democratic Party of 1860–1960 is not the same coalition as today; the Southern Dixiecrats who supported segregation mostly became Republicans after the Civil Rights Act (Goldwater 1964, Nixon’s Southern Strategy, Reagan’s states’ rights dog whistles). The parties realigned on race and civil rights by the late 1960s–early 1970s. Modern Democrats didn’t invent or defend Jim Crow; today’s far-right fringes are the ones flying Confederate flags and “heritage not hate” bumper stickers. As for “want slaves to pick crops”—you mean the agricultural labor shortages filled mostly by immigrants Republicans simultaneously demonize and quietly rely on? Projection level: expert. "The 2012 and 2020 elections were stolen." In 2026 we’re still doing this? Courts (over 60 cases in 2020), Republican election officials, Trump’s own AG Barr, cybersecurity agencies (CISA called 2020 “the most secure in American history”), and multiple audits/recounts (including GOP-led ones) found no widespread fraud capable of flipping any state. 2012? Obama won by 5 million votes and 126 electoral votes; Romney conceded on election night. No serious evidence ever emerged then either. This is comfort food for people who can’t accept losing, not reality. Move on—your side controls the White House, House, and Senate right now. What’s left to steal? "USAID and ActBlue are money laundering machines for demoRATs." "USAID is a federal foreign-aid agency overseen by Congress with public budgets and audits; calling it a “laundering machine” is QAnon-adjacent word salad. ActBlue? It’s a Democratic fundraising platform that processes millions of small donations transparently (just like WinRed on the right). There were Republican-led investigations and noise about potential straw-donor issues in 2024–2025, but no smoking-gun mass-fraud findings that invalidated its core operations. Both parties have PACs and dark-money networks; pretending only one side plays the game is adorable. Glass houses, friend." Next time, maybe try facts over feelings?

Leading physicist Dr. William Happer: "More CO₂ is good for the world... It's absurd to be trying to reduce CO₂." "We're in a CO₂ famine now... So it's unbelievable that they've managed to turn this beneficial gas, a part of life, into a threat."

@ClimateRetorts @wideawake_media you realise that copper and the ground have different emission spectra? Note the bit "there are, however, certain rays ... to which the carbonic acid is impervious" CO2 absorbs several of the wavelengths of energy emitted from the ground

@SwellGreatMan @anika_climate Oh goodness. You are lost in the nonsensical false frame of "climate science". Your bent thinking makes reality look bent. The consensus on climate isn't real, and CO2 is poor at absorbing IR. Both of these are measurable, and proveable. Nothing else.

@anika_climate The problem with those disputing the scientific consensus is that they generally do so with lies, inaccuracies, misrepresentations of the understanding of climate and physics, anything but valid scientific rebuttals. They are smart-sounding stupid liars, not credible researchers.
