Is the #sausagearmy still out there? Poor Lollipop fell ill suddenly today and it is acute Pancreatitis. She is in hospital on IVs. Does anyone have experience of this or any advice? 🙏🏻

@merlinthelab Oh Kim I am so sorry. We lost Lola a couple of weeks ago too so I totally understand your pain. All we can do is make the best decisions for them and make sure they know they are loved 💔

💔 Last night we said goodbye to our Beautiful Magical Merlin 💔 He wasn't himself Sunday & yesterday went downhill. I rang a private vet who came to us & helped him say goodbye, peacefully surrounded by love 💕

@TheSquirmyWorms Thank you. It’s a terrible shock and I miss her terribly. As you say, she was so very beautiful. I wish she could have had more lovely beach days, but she certainly did have plenty of different and interesting walks. Loved her so very much. x

Thank you for all of you good wishes. She’s being very well looked after by @arunvetgroup who have been very supportive to us all, but Lola is very poorly. We were able to see her today.They are currently trying a plasma transfusion. Let’s hope that helps to turn things around 🙏🏻

Unfortunately, Lola was taken poorly again yesterday and we had to take her to the hospital last night. She is in a critical condition. It came out of the blue again, but came back worse. We had a week of walks, smiles & cuddles. Love your dogs while you can. #sausagearmy #dogs

She’s much better. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on a drip but now back home. We’ve followed the fab advice you all gave and she’s much better. Lots of cuddles and a little, slow walk on the beach 🙏🤞😘 #sausagearmy #dachshund #dogs

@ClimpingCottage Dolly has had acute pancreatitis and was on a drip at the vets for a couple of days. It was such a worry but made a full recovery once fluids back in and meds taken. Small meals and low fat has been the order of the day since. Hope you feel better soon, sending a gentle hug 🥰

@ClimpingCottage How is Lollipop ?

As some of you know, the last couple of days have been tough. Weirdly though this kestrel seems to be my guardian angel. This was Christmas day and he flew right next to me again today in a completely different location. A windy day!

@TheSquirmyWorms Thanks. It’s been horrid but she is back to her old self and the help and support on here has been amazing. The concern now is that vet thinks it is a side effect from a tumour in the background. This was based on elevated calcium a phosphorus in her bloods. 🤞🙏x

@ClimpingCottage When I had my one eyed mini dachshund Hampton, he would often get pancreatitis in his last few years of life. He would have to eat chicken and rice soup because of it until it cleared up. I hope your sweet Lollipop gets better soon!

@ClimpingCottage Hello! So sorry to hear about lil Lollipop. Fraggle has many food allergies and pancreatitis gets triggered by anything that doesn't agree with her. So super duper strict diet (much to her disgust!). Sending love and positive vibes that Lollipop is home with you soon xx
