@CottageTactico @fbref Quality over quantity, always. Don’t think it’s wrong to say more shots from distance could help our xG and (hopefully) real goals numbers. But it’s also situational. I’d take fewer shots but even more boxcross (half space in penalty area) entries any day of the week.

Standout fullback Nick Bawden is still a FREE AGENT. He last signed with the Texans on a 1 year deal. Many teams could use a capable and effective blocker.

@WhistleBlowerDK That was my take as well. Clearly slipped and while he makes high contact across the knee, it’s accidental and not forced. Defo a caution, but for me feels very harsh to be shown red.

He’s slipped, the contact is on the knee, but you are looking at more than just a swipe. This doesn’t meet the threshold for serious foul play for me.

Don’t like the Bruno red card onfield decision, but ultimately that’s something VAR should be overturning. It’s high enough, but lacking force. He doesn’t make contact with his studs. Seems very odd.
