
I usually don’t post selfies, but I thought I’d try to encourage someone who’s maybe just beginning their fitness journey or have fallen off the wagon. At some point this Spring, due to heavy travel, recruiting visit weekends (where we eat a LOT) and not working out I had gotten to the heaviest weight I’d ever been (around 233 lbs.). I was borderline pre-diabetic and my cholesterol levels were high. I decided I had to make a lifestyle change. I began a daily cardio regimen where I get at least 30 minutes in a day, I completely cut out drinks with sugar (no soda or sweet tea) and I even went meatless for about a week and half. I’m proud to say that I’m 203 as of this morning (2 lbs below my college playing weight) and I feel amazing! I say all that to say, make a decision, start a routine, stay encouraged and most importantly, do it for YOU (my wife tells me I’m losing my butt, but I don’t care)! LOL #HealthIsWealth
