Fun and exciting weekend as Alex Code won the (14 year old division) Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Contest at Bethlehem High in Bardstown on Sunday. In addition Corbin Kuehne & Jackson Clark won the 10 &13 yr old divisions. The trio combined to shoot 91% (68 of 75).

I'm truly blessed to be able to coach at a wonderful school with outstanding players, families, and administration at Brossart. But after 31 years in coaching (over 15 yrs at BB), today at our banquet, I decided to step down as head coach and be more available for my family.

@DHHSAthletics Dixie just hired a terrific basketball coach. He has an outstanding mind for the game. He will do a great job for the Colonels. Well done, and congratulations Chad!

I admit there were things that I didn't think that I would see again in sports, and they have all happened fairly recently. Tiger Woods as well as Phil Mickelson both winning majors in golf. The other being Joey Votto hit again like he did during his MVP season in 2010.
