Happy to see the discourse on open governance of the Bitcoin ecosystem happening in the open. As the first (and only?) Corporation publicly and strictly adhering to the BRC100 Standard across all applications I offer my thoughts below. 🧵

@ShaunStromb @RapidResponse47 @POTUS Only into Gasoline. Diesel can be made from corn, but it is too expensive. Much more cheap to make Diesel from soybean oil. So, Corn ethanol (alcohol) can be mixed with gasoline. But Diesel is usually just Diesel.

Dude. What happens with nitrogen in some parts of the Midwest is that farmers are encouraged to knowingly put more nitrogen in the ground than is actually needed for fertilizing the crops. This excess added nitrogen is a boost in case of wet years, where extra rain would otherwise deplete the nitrogen levels below optimum for maximizing plant growth. Of course, in these wet years, the excess added nitrogen is washed downstream and not needed by the crops. It is an inefficient system, designed to keep crop production "redlined" at maximum potential production. If you have operated engines close to the red-line, you know the risk of breakdown is higher. Without going into the details of what the alternatives are (like crop rotation), these type of practices that push into the red-line are making multiple breakdowns.

Learnt more than 10 years ago that all ideologies you can possibly subscribe to have the possibility to subconsciously radicalize you into an extremist. Human weakness in navigating this is beyond doubt, hence why all should be careful.

I predict that by the end of 2026, there will be at least 2 Bitcoin hard forks that create altcoins. One from the Knots people to save the purity + “spirit” of Bitcoin, and at least another one from the frustrated builders who got sick of waiting for particular upgrades to get consensus. I think that the Knots effort will be short-lived, as the “spammers” will continually find ways to inscribe data until the filters get ridiculous. But the builders have the potential to attract lots of users from altcoins and also attract bitcoiners who resonate with the more technologist approach. So by 2027 we will have the institutional Bitcoin, the plebeian filtering Bitcoin, and the cypherpunk Bitcoin that we’ve been promised for longer than a decade. I think all of them will become bigger than BCH. But the winning chain will be the one that the miners choose to secure. It’s gonna be interesting! But the last time we had a civil war of this magnitude, it wasn’t Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash that emerged victorious. It was Ethereum.

This is Doug and Kareen Thomas — They moved to Humboldt County after their home burned down in the L.A County wildfires, and 6 days later, their dream property turned into a nightmare. The county said a letter saying this barn was built without a permit, and prior owners did use it for growing weed. So they had 10 days to demo the barn or face fines of $12,000 per day. And ignoring the letter would result in a $900,000 lien placed on their property, which could then be sold at a tax sale. — How is this possible? Well, Humboldt County is part of the Emerald Triangle. For decades, it's been a hotspot for OG growers. And after California went legal, the county wanted its cut. So they created an environmental response team to supposedly protect a sensitive ecosystem. In reality, it was used to weed out black market growers and incentivize them into the legal industry. They'd use old grainy satellite images to look for unpermitted development, like barns, greenhouses, grading, and even the removal of too many trees, because those things must mean you're growing weed. However, in Humboldt, people have developed property and lived off the land without permits for generations. But the county didn't care. They had a quota to me, 50 permit violations a week. — How are Humboldt County's actions any different than mob rule?”

!ALERT! BSV needs new leadership!! The current group is snuffing Bitcoin out from within, whether they realize it or not. I can’t support this Blockchain any longer until the board diversifies and allows new board members and investors who have been loyal to BSV for years to inject BILLIONS OF DOLLARS into the ecosystem. @BSVAssociation your supporters have waited long enough, why are you hodling control? We demand a diversified board! Turn the pressure up and tell @BSVAssociation you want more/new people on the board ASAP!! Some of these new ppl r heroes and shouldn’t have to wait! @blacknredtext Its mainly all the unnecessary steps they use to do laundry, like weird football luck rituals. Separating colors from whites (given), washing only on certain days even though the clothes are right there, and having to separating clothes and folding them right out of the dryer.
