In any dynamic, including friendships, respect is a byproduct of observed behavior rather than verbal assertions. People instinctively calibrate their treatment of you based on what you allow, what you ignore, and what you choose to enforce. These reactions, or lack thereof, form the fundamental blueprint that dictates how others will navigate their relationship with you moving forward.

You know what to do. You've known for months. Maybe years. The information isn't the problem. The problem is every time you try to execute, something invisible pushes back. That's not laziness. That's your belief ceiling. And it was built before you were old enough to question it

Sometimes the only way to improve is to hate yourself more. You don't try hard enough because you're too comfortable with how much you suck. But if you hated yourself enough, you'd actually do something about it. An alchemist is just a masochist who turns pain into force of will.

They only see what you show, what is explicit and portrayed - but are blind to your interiority, your structure - and all that which constitutes your soul. They do not get you, but they think they do. And so you are not an enigma to them, because they don’t even realise the vast puzzle that you are. And so how could they ever be real to you, when they don’t even perceive your mystery? The only people who are real to you, are the ones who truly see you, or at the very least feel the burning questions that your very being raises for them. Everybody else means nothing to you, because they believe they get you when they don’t, because you are unseen by them even when visible to them, and unknown to them even when heard by them: you are beyond their reach - for they are not of you and nor are they for you - just as you are not for them. You are so wondrously complex, that in their dismissive blindness they deem you simple. You are not the same, for just as an ant cannot grasp a lion, a mere mortal cannot grasp the divine.

To all men: never look weak. Never look desperate. Never chase what walks away. Most men lose not because they lack skill but because they lack control. Master your craft. Stay calm when everything is collapsing. That’s how you win. Prioritize wisely.

The social world rewards a strange combination of value and restraint, because people trust the man who is clearly capable but not desperate to prove it, clearly strong but not eager to display it, and clearly aware of his worth without begging others to confirm what he already knows.

Addiction is just misplaced devotion. You gave ritual, sacrifice, and loyalty to your own destruction. That same energy, redirected, could build empires. You were never weak, just worshipping the wrong god.

If you have faith like a mustard seed. Jesus did not say big faith, he said stupidly small faith, embarrassingly small faith. and the mountain moves, because God is not impressed by your size. he is impressed that you still asked at all, after everything

One painful truth about respect is that it often grows the moment you become willing to disappoint people, because many tests are not about conflict at all but about whether your standards can be bent by guilt, charm, pressure, or the fear of being seen as difficult by weaker minds.

You need to become so steady, so competent, and so difficult to shake that people feel your weight without needing a performance. Presence becomes powerful when it is backed by substance instead of hunger for recognition.

Wealth isn't built on a single windfall; it’s built on the thousands of micro-decisions you make before the big money ever arrives. If you treat small amounts with indifference, you’re proving you don't have the systems in place to manage a fortune. Respecting the single dollar is the ultimate audit of your financial character.
