So much respect for every bar/restaurant that has TV coverage for every game already set up and having the volume on, instead of music. I'm currently at @piecechicago before having to go somewhere else and it's heaven.

Just a reminder, venues choose to submit to host IHSA state finals.
Not the other way around.
This is not a knock on the Rockford area/Guilford HS. If you think a state would be better somewhere else, you shouldn't be complaining unless you put a proposal in.

The WBC was a tremendous success and it’s genuinely moving how much it clearly means to the Venezuelan team.
Also, it’s amazing Salvy Perez is still catching big time baseball games. A no-doubt Hall of Famer. Such a legend.

It’s the last day of the IHSA basketball season. East St. Louis and Deerfield locked in a tight battle in the 3A final, with Benet and Marist to follow in the 4A title game. Meanwhile, I picked up a copy of Illustrious by @VincentDJohnson. A must-have for hoops fans.
