I'll also say, the most insane thing about being homeless and then working my way back into a somewhat normal life is how SOFT I got from it. I was in the best shape of my life when I was on the street. Walked 10-15mi daily. Was in the sun for hours daily. No alarm clocks. Carried a heavy rucksack everywhere. Sprinted from the cops now and then, got in fights and scuffles. Was eating an absurdly lean diet of mostly rice, beans, peanut butter, dumpster pizza, etc. And even though I was usually drinking heavily I was always lean. Then I joined the military thinking that they kept their guys in shape, only to find that military standards are a joke, and most jobs in my branch weren't physically active in anything like the same way. I got flabby pretty quick. Lost my endurance. Walking even just 5-7mi became a lot harder, even without a pack. By the time I made E-4, I had a stupid, fake, do-nothing desk job. My skin was pale. I was getting terrible sleep because of the alarm clock. I never sprinted, never carried heavy weight, was just useless. My body atrophied. Hasn't really been the same since. There's a type of bodily "hardness" that really only homeless people can obtain. And it's incredibly easy to lose it. If you've ever experienced anything like it, you know what I am saying.

People will argue whether the Iran war met its objectives but as a matter of ‘politics’ the US successfully and instantaneously vaporized 3-4 levels of Iranian political leadership. Powerful incentive going forward for foreign leaders to ‘take the deal’ when one is offered.

American politics is just a pendulum that swings between open border rainbow globohomo and boomerslop neocon negative IQ patriotism, all within the grandfather clock holding everything together that is international finance. I still find it difficult to believe that some people still hinge their hopes on midterms or 2028 (lol, lmao even). The *entire* system needs to be challenged. Swapping checker pieces within the system does jack all. Felt this had to be said after seeing all these No Kings protests inundate my timeline. Going to these protests is just masturbatory virtue signaling, a complete waste of energy in every sense of the phrase. Real anger (energy that produces action) gets dissipated into impotent shouting on the streets, but the clown show goes on and the puppetmasters continue pulling the strings, unperturbed.

I was wondering if I was missing something with everyone getting so worked up over the Iran war but now with it winding down it’s clear you’re all just hysterical and very unwell.

BREAKING: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth lifted the suspension of Army pilots who flew two Apache helicopters that hovered outside Kid Rock’s home during a training mission, saying there will be no investigation. “Thank you Kid Rock…pilots suspension LIFTED. No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots,” Hegseth wrote on Twitter Some straight-up banana republic stuff.

Absolute bombshell. Russian Chechen combat units officially declare they will deploy to Iran to fight alongside Iranian forces if the US launches a ground invasion. They are openly framing it as a holy Jihad against American power. The conflict is expanding globally.

Can we please… just secure our rare earths supply chains first before we do this? How are we able to spend billions on glass towers in Miami? But not subsidize all our most important AI, Robotics, and Space rare earth upstream supply chains… That are entirely dependent on China/Russia? We literally have no domestic processing at scale for some of the most vital chokepoints from Humanoids bodies to indium/germanium/gallium for AI applications. Picking a few like $MP to $USAR and saying “we did something” is not enough. The Rare Earths chokepoint is a ticking time bomb that China set over the US. America has its prioritizes completely wrong

Every single foreign leader - ally, adversary or in-between - regardless of geography, ideology, or style of gov't. - is light years smarter than Trump. They might not read or study psychology in a formal or clinical way, but they know he has behavioral disorders. They know how badly he craves attention, credit, personal adulation, material goods, and tribute. They know he is a gateway to quid pro quo on anything. And most important - they know that under Trump, America's best interests are secondary to Trump's best interests. Many of them make fun of him privately. And many of them either know he's compromised or suspect he is. And as President, HE COMPROMISES US - every single day, in every possible way -- including some ways we're first beginning to learn, some ways we strongly suspect, and some ways we haven't yet conclusively discovered. He's made us further from Great than we've ever been.

As a reminder, JD Vance converted to Catholicism simultaneous to Peter Thiel giving him $15 million—the largest personal donation ever for a Senate candidate—and stock in Russian propaganda website Rumble. JD was a gay-curious atheist until he met Peter at Yale. It’s all a LARP.
The Associated Press@AP

Vice President JD Vance has a new book that will explore his religious faith and his conversion to Catholicism as an adult. “Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith” will be out June 16. apnews.com/article/jd-van…

I think on some level my mind just refuses to accept that this is, in fact, real, that this absolutely batshit crazy individual is still president of the US and somehow still fanatically worshiped by over 35% of the US population. This will all end in a global catastrophe...

@Collectivexit The type that's been annoying me lately is the recycling of old footage of protests, bombings, explosions, etc. and presenting them as if they are current events. Surprisingly, community notes has been somewhat decent on tracking down the origin of the media.

Witnessing fake videos, misleading stories or propaganda coming from people on the side I support, for any particular issue, annoys me much more than seeing it perpetrated by people on the opposing side.

It’s important for Trump to remember that he can do anything - there are no consequences. 2 or 3 months from now people will remember nothing, so use power while you have it.

Let me get this straight… Palantir now controls: – 30+ federal agencies – DHS-wide data fusion – Health surveillance infrastructure – Master list database of all Americans – Law‑enforcement “precrime” intelligence And now the Pentagon is making Palantir AI its core military system. One company... Running government. Running the military. Running surveillance on all of us. What could possibly go wrong?
