Hello @WiganCouncil please can you pick up the phone to us or just respond RE why the council thought an Environmental Impact Assessment was not needed on this?
Our own privately advised assessments shows that this should never have gone ahead without an EIA… keen to understand why your council didn’t reach the same conclusion.

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

Hi Matt.
I ‘shut you down’ because you were not trying to debate, you were trying to deflect.
The horrendous domestic abuse we experience in this country has absolutely *nothing* to do with the fact that as a result of political choice; young men are permitted to illegally enter this country en mass from backgrounds/cultures which subjugate women/girls and are then placed freely among our communities. The net result of this political choice is that women/girls are put at *direct increased risk*. This increased risk often results in the attacks we see and hear about regularly (tho I don’t believe we are told the full volume).
Attempting to conflate the two issues - as an attempt to avoid and/or dismiss the issue in hand - is a nonsense/insulting deflection which needs robustly calling out each/every time it happens. I will never hesitate to do exactly that.
I make no apologies for this.

I’m genuinely quite disgusted with some Restore Britain followers regarding this interview.
They’ve bombarded this thread and on my posts with conspiracies and attacks all because Siobhan Whyte, who is a grieving mother, didn’t mention @RupertLowe10 when I asked her who she had met yesterday.
Now I’ve had messages from her Siobhan saying she’s so sorry for not mentioning him. Clearly, she’s had a pile-on from Restore Britain supporters.
