I used to have a Traeger years ago, it worked well, they didn’t have an app or WiFi back then. After that I went to an offset charcoal smoker. Now I’m back to the pellet grill, for long cooks it’s a no brainer. America loves meat, we love our bbq ribs and brisket, smoked anything really. I read in the news the other day that we are supposed to be changing to lab grown meat or 3d printed meat that they claim is just as good. I’m sorry but I am not a believer, don’t fix anything that’s not broken. A nice cut of good beef or pork is all we need, no need to overcomplicate things. I couldn’t imagine smoking a 3d printed rack of ribs, it doesn’t seem natural to me. Besides, look at the results, nobody who enjoys meat is gonna be like no I don’t want delicious, smoky, juicy meat, I want meat alternative.

I remember when we were kids, we had a raccoon climb down the chimney and into the house, I was only around 10 years old home alone with my brother who is a few years older than me. We had no idea what to do. This was before cellphones and we couldn’t get ahold of our parents. We grabbed whatever we could just to defend ourselves in case we had to. We didn’t know if it had rabies or anything like that. I remember my brother kept swatting at it until we were able to push it through the door. It was nuts because it wasn’t scared of us, it stood its ground the whole time. What would you have done? They don’t teach us how to handle things like this in school. We have to learn how to figure things out ourselves.
