11, 12, and 14 years old.
Raped for days by more than 20 Pakistani immigrants.
Tortured—one had her tongue nailed to the wall to keep her still while they raped her.
The police ridiculed, insulted, and ignored them.
The feminists turned the other way.
If it hadn't been for Elon Musk, who publicly shared the trial testimonies, sparking outrage from Reform UK and internal investigations, no one would have known anything.
You're not angry enough.

Dear Lord, Almighty Creator, we give thanks to You on this beautiful Sunday morning for creating us beautifully. We thank You so much for the gifts that we have received from Your generosity and ask You this day to bless all Your creation; bestow upon each one of us, we pray, Your shield and protection, from all danger and harm, especially the danger of evil and all its temptation. We are the clay in Your mighty hand and so we ask that You protect us with Your love and kindness. God lead us with Your powerful hand that we may walk on Your path of righteousness. With so many hurting and afflicted look down on them that they may be comforted and lay Your powerful hands of healing and protection upon them. Lord, we humbly ask that you forgive us our sins and grant that the Holy Spirit walks and molds us all the days of our life. Through Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray, Amen 🙏✝️
Jeremiah 18: 6
“O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.”

Three weeks ago today, my son Evan stepped into eternity. I thought the days would start to feel lighter by now. They haven’t. If anything, the weight feels heavier. I don’t have this figured out. I’m stumbling through it just like so many of you. Some days I feel like a pastor who should have stronger faith or better words, but right now I’m mostly just a broken dad trying to breathe.
Grief isn’t a tidy process with neat stages. It’s a daily, hourly, minute-by-minute reality that can overtake you without warning. Every memory hurts. I close my eyes and see his face, hear his laugh, remember the way he filled a room—and the tears come. I dream about him at night and wake up reaching for a reality that isn’t there anymore. Guilt tries to creep in too: Did I do enough? Say enough? Love him well enough? The questions are relentless.
To those of you who have walked this road of child loss, I see you. I’m right there with you in the fog. This pain is immense because the love was immense. Grief is loving someone who’s no longer here to receive it. There is no “getting over it.” There is only learning, slowly and painfully, how to carry it. Some days you’ll feel like you’re drowning. Other days you’ll manage to put one foot in front of the other. Both are okay. God is not offended by your tears—Jesus wept too.
To those who haven’t lost a child: please understand that this kind of grief is almost impossible to explain. It’s not just sadness. It’s an amputation of the heart. Comments like “He’s in a better place” or “Time heals all wounds” can land like bricks on a bruised soul, even when spoken with love. What helps most is simple presence. “I’m here. I’m praying. I’m listening if you want to talk about him.” Say his name. Let us talk about our children who are gone. It keeps their memory alive in this world.
If you’re walking through this valley right now, here are a few things I’m learning (even as I stumble through them):
• It’s okay to cry. Every single time. The tears honor him.
• Let people help. Let them bring meals, sit in silence with you, or handle things you can’t face yet.
• Speak his name. Evan. I will keep saying it.
• Cling to the Lord even when you don’t feel Him. Some days my prayers are just tears and groans. That’s enough.
• Be gentle with yourself. There is no timeline. The world may move on, but your heart doesn’t have to.
If you’re grieving today, you’re not alone in this heavy valley. I’m still right here in it with you, not as someone who has it all together, but as a fellow traveler leaning on grace. I may not be able to respond to every message—that feels impossible right now—but please know your story matters deeply to me. We can cry, remember, pray, or just sit in it together. Evan’s life mattered. He is loved and missed beyond words. And one day, by God’s grace, we will see our children again with no more tears.
Until then, we carry on with broken hearts in the hands of a God who specializes in broken things.

🕊️ Feeling drained...
The Bible is a reminder that God renews strength when ours runs out.
Romans 12:2 NIV
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and prove what God's will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will."
The Bible teaches that real strength does not come from ourselves- it comes from trusting in the Lord.
Waiting on God is not passive; it is confident faith that He will act in His perfect time.
When we rely on Him, He renews our hearts, gives endurance for the race, and helps us keep walking when life feels heavy.
God's strength lifts above fear weariness, and discouragement.
What area of your life do you need God to renew today- your mind, heart, or strength?✝️

🚨 NOW: Rep. Tim Burchett sounds the alarm that Senate GOP leadership might be PURPOSEFULLY SLOW-WALKING the SAVE America Act — waiting to pass it, or vote on it, when it can't be implemented in time
"Something like 80% approval. And yet you can't even get it to a vote in the Senate. I just don't buy it, folks."
"I've got a sneaking suspicion that they'll probably attempt to pass it or pass it so late in the dadgum game that it can't get implemented."
"And then they can go home and say, oh look, we passed it and everybody will be celebrating patting them on the back."
"Then it just cannot get implemented at the state and local level in time for it to have any effect in these elections."
"And ultimately, I think that's what you've got. And I'm afraid in the Senate leadership, they have such a hatred of Trump and the conservative movement."
"They want things to go back to the status quo, which is them being called from the golf course by the Democrats when it's time to make a vote!"
LET'S KEEP FIGHTING.

This man, a veteran, was beaten and murdered because he supported President Trump, according to this report. He was 69 years old, alleged assaulted by a 32-year-old. How awful and disgusting. Let's see if this receives the national attention and widespread condemnation it certainly deserves. May God bless him and his family.

Ian Weikel was my best friend when we were lieutenants. A year older and also married, I looked up to him and tried to follow his example. If I’ve been a good husband and Army Officer, it is in large measure because of him.
Ian left this mortal world 20 years ago in April 2006 when an IED struck his vehicle near Taji, Iraq. I’ve worn his KIA bracelet 24/7 ever since as a reminder to be a good man. It’s well worn now and tough to read… on the rare occasion I do take it off, like to go through airport security, I have to put on my reading glasses to tell which way to put it on. There is probably some symbolism there about getting older, the years that have gone by, the life I’ve lived, and the presence Ian continues to have in my life. I’ve never really thought about it like that until now…
While Ian was KIA that day in Iraq, he lives forever in me and every soldier I’ve ever led. He lives forever in those who loved him. He lives forever at the USMA Rugby complex where they’ve retired his jersey. He lives forever at the elementary school named in his honor on Ft Carson.
If you’ve followed along with these posts this weekend, I appreciate it. I appreciate you taking the time to read & think about my friends. In that way, you have honored them. I saved Ian for last because I knew it would be tough. I owe him too much to accurately describe. Forever young and the best of all of us.
Again, if you’re still reading - thanks.
I really do hope you had a meaningful weekend.

It is with deep sadness that I share with you the news that Kerry Sheron, a 69-year-old Army veteran, tragically passed away Sunday night after being brutally beaten by his neighbor, all because he loved our country and President Trump.
Please send all your love and prayers to Kerry’s wife and family on this difficult day.
May God bless his beautiful soul. We thank him for his service to our country. 😔💔

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?’” (Matthew 16:24-26)
